Guys I've got a bit of a 2D Platformer Mario itch, I was looking at Wonderboy but hearing that hasn't aged well, anybody got any other recommendations? I've got Celeste, so anything other than that?

Fox n Forest came out today, it’s a 16 bit style platformer, looks like a lost Mega Drive game.

Here's a daft question perhaps.

When Hyrule Warriors DX downloads (half an hour or so now), can I set my Nintendo account to Australia and play it early? Or is it tied to the store I bought it from? (ZAF, only one hour ahead).

I will find out in half an hour but maybe I'll plan to do something now which lasts more than half an hour.

Another daft question to add to the list, if I get a second memory card and stated downloading games on that, will all previously bought games still stay on my main screen and I just swap memory cards to play them?

Won't work.

You'll probably keep the archived versions of the games. Selecting them will just trigger a download rather than asking for the right MicroSD card. Also, I think the Switch expects you to turn it off before changing MicroSD cards anyway.

Eerie - I just had a conversation about Go Vacation less than 2 minutes ago irl.

It's one of my very favourite WIi multiplayer games; a real hidden gem. Great news that it's coming to HD and hopefully the Switch will iron out the 2 player framerate issues of the original.

Never played this on the Wii but it looks awesome from the trailer, I showed my son and got at least three wows from it.

Happy Hyrule Warriors day!

My copy won't be arriving until tomorrow thanks to Amazon being a bit shit.

I'm tempted to cancel it and just get it off the eShop, as it might be a good game to just dip into.

That's the thing, I'm so tempted to just say fuck it and go all digital with all Switch and PS4 games. I don't sell or trade them like I used to so...

I did the same this week with Fire Emblem Warriors, was looking on Amazon thinking I could save £2 and get it tomorrow, or I could just download it now and be playing it in half hour, I did the latter.

Thoroughly enjoying it too. Going to get Hyrule once I've finished it

Played a few hours of HYRULE WARRIORS, I think I'm enjoying it but god damn it's confusing as fuck sometimes. Stuff flashes on the map frequently, but by the time you have worked out which icon is yours (the other heroes have an icon too) it stops flashing? I also managed to skip 2 or 3 tutorials as they just randomly pop up in combat and are skipped with the button you spam to attack. It also looks a bit shit too. Nice music though.

I hope it all falls into place, I'm sure after a few more hours it will.

It is THE game to play with a mini loved one. I really like how it gives you a properly large open world (or 4) to independently zoom around in, potter around, meet up or agree to start games together. The fact it’s a choice to stick by each other’s side or head for the same destination in whichever manner you like makes it more meaningful. It’s also good how you can we play solo when you fancy and customise your char, build a home, practice games, or just rollerblade/quad bike about. It’s a simple, fun sandbox in the truest sense of the word.

I use two cards myself, and that's exactly what happens. All game icons remain in place exactly where they were, but any game not on the current card shows a download icon when you highlight it.

You need to power the Switch off completely before swapping cards, like Super Craig said.

So I'd decided not to buy anything this month.....

picked up battle chasers, then saw banner saga was out - been waiting years to play this and then thought I'd get hyrule warriors cause dekay never shuts up about it.

And yet the debaser didn’t like it. Strange.

Bring up the (full) map and you can see what's going on.

Has anyone downloaded the PixelJunk Monsters 2 demo?  If you missed it on PS3, PSP and PS Vita and you like tower defense games you should check it out.

The format of the game hasn't really changed since the PS3 original, so it's very familiar. It fills a bit of a gap on Switch.
