WiiU ports, remasters, Neo Geo classics, sequels and DX versions of games are all fine and dandy but what about all new IPs? I’m a bit drunk but I think ARMS is the last one, and I don’t recall any announced we’re waiting for?

Are there any all new games coming?

I wonder if we’ll see anything new at E3?

Sure I'll stop posting information on Switch exploits and homebrew if you're not interested. The endeavour to free consumer hardware is nothing to do with piracy however, that's a common misapprehension.

Cheers, good chap. Why not create a Switch Homebrew thread or the like? No doubt a few are interested in how it develops.

Can I mention that those who are interested in hacking should get excited? Linux is running on it now and they have released it.

Homebrew on consoles leaves me entirely cold. I already have too many games anyway. The idea of turning the Switch into yet another omnipotent console is making me sigh rather than be amazed (or somehow outraged at Nintendo).

Would it run Steam?

Possibly, Steam runs natively on Linux and they have Linux running on Switch, this is what I am hoping for, access to the Steam library on Switch.

I imagine a lot of smaller titles would run fine, but obviously hardware intense games would flat out fail.

Oh for sure but the more intense titles would be on console anyway.

This isn’t how it works.

Yeah obviously, that's why Nintendo are revising the actual Switch hardware to stop it.

What happened to taking this to another Switch cracking/emulation thread Kirby? Can a mod create one to house all this talk, as it's going to only grow and grow in the coming days and weeks, I doubt I'm alone in preferring to come in here to talk about the Switch (its games and new hardware etc.) rather than debating the pros and cons of another portable device that can run Linux or MAME or whatever (and deffo isn't about pirating BOTW).

A similar thing was done with the Lego and fake Lego threads in OT, so can we do it here too?

So, there's a Harvest Moon - Light of Hope port for Switch out in June. I had no idea.

Is this one any good? I've never played a HM game. How does it differ from Stardew?

I've got my eye on this too, need something to scratch the Stardew / Animal Crossing itch. Is this a port of an old game then? I presumed it was just the next one in the series?

Ps. Anyone know know anything about Homebrew  / Emulation / Piracy? I don't see a line anywhere? ;)
