Easily the best fighter I've played since probably 3S and KoF'99. VF5 too, but I hardly had anyone to play that with.

Interesting. I had it down to be like a variation of Virtua On.

Oh yeah; Virtual-On is probably the closest comparison. It's still very much about spacing, timing and reads like a traditional fighter though. As well as cheeky couter-picks against your opponent's style.

It looks wonderful too.

My mates uncle is an actual Pokemon and Unclechu said that the entire Atari Jaguar back catalogue is coming to the Switch.

It'll be announced at BS3.

Oh man, the Jag version of Doom....

Yup, if you own it on PSVR, Steam or Oculus Store then your copy will be upgraded to the Gold version. This'll mean you can play it without VR if you want, and you'll get the DLC thrown in too. It's a really cool co-op game, didn't want to divide the player base between different versions.

Switch version is out a little later - think we've got it pencilled in for the summer at some point. Don't know any more as I've been busily beavering away on other stuff :)

For those who have yet to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - what the hell are you waiting for? Get on it, NOW!

It's a wonderful, involving, funny, emotional, deeply immersive game. The characters are ace, the plot mental and brilliant, the combat is fantastic, rewarding and deep as fuck, and the many worlds are visually stunning and highly varied.

It's comfortably one of the best games I've played for years, and has seriously stimulated my interest in similar JRPGs when they hit the Switch. It's the first proper JRPG I've played, and I loved it to bits - every mad minute of the 77 hours of this first playthrough.

My review:

9.5/10 - A FUCKING CLASSIC
