Played a bit of mario hooked up to the tv. It looks lovely and the device is a great piece of kit. Love the vibrations. Got to the inverted pyramid and that’s enough for me for one night.

Good man. It's an epic game .

 

Can't quite remember quite where it is (it's a pretty big game world so you might not even come across it, apparently plenty don't) but I found a well that had something pretty decent in it.

My only critique is when you come off the tv to the handheld, it looks a bit low res, but I soon got used to it

For anybody who plays Pinball FX 3, the Bethesda collection is now available on Switch.

Games with the same resolution still often look better on tv, Dragon Quest Builders for example. You notice little details more and get a better sense of the draw distance.

It's not dead - it's actually being demoed at EGX Rezzed, here in the UK, next week!

Well I think that GAME may have kind of screwed me.

 

I ordered the Switch with Odyssey and Kingdom battle for £319.99.

 

It's turned up and the packing receipt says:

"Nintendo Switch - Neon Red/Blue Mint" - £237.04

 

Then two other games are then listed and the final price of the package is - £307.29

 

The price also says it includes VAT.

 

The Switch. Mint? Yes, mint. I don't think it's new.

 

So my £319.99 package is worth a lot less, because this is potentially secondhand.

 

Anyone know how GAME works?

To be fair, I’ve never seen that colour joy-con combination referred to as “Blue Mint”. “Neon Blue” certainly, and that’s how it’s displayed on the Game website.

 

So, based on that packing receipt, I could see why you’d think it’d be secondhand.

Actually to be fair - the games both say MINT next to them. So @JPickford IS WRONG! TOLL THE BELL! LET ALL HEAR!

 

Also it makes me wrong because both the games are SEALED.

 

Why is it priced at £307? I guess I just feel like nothing is selotaped together inside / the celophane is just wrapped around stuff.

 

Why would I trust them if they are telling me it's worth less than I paid.

Pretty sure I've seen this from GAME before, and they just describe new stuff as mint.

 

Their grading description doesn't mention Mint other than words to be picked up in a google search.

In GAME lingo "Mint" means "New".

It's not lol. The colours are Neon Red and Neon Blue. "Mint" obviously describes the condition of the kit.

Seems odds and superfluous language to use. If something is second-hand it's referred to as -preowned- but otherwise surely all new stock is mint.
