Nintendo has filed a Switch-related patent involving Donkey Konga drums and keyboard.

I'd kill for a Switch Donkey Konga.

Are the glory days of the Wii back?

Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure is being ported to Switch!!!! :omg:

Barrel Blast as it was meant to be played (it was a game created for the bongos), before being moved to the Wii and retro-fitted with Wiimote/nunchuk miming? That would be pretty great.

There's a bunch of WiI U games I was interested in but never got around to buying the console. Pretty much all the Nintendo games really:

DKC: Tropical Freeze

Captain Toad

Mario Maker

Mario 3D World

Smash Bros ?

Hyrule Warriors

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Woolly World

Paper Mario Colour Splash

NES Remix/2

Bayonetta double pack

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Pokken

Star Fox 0

Just re-release them all on Switch, but maybe for the sake of my bank account don't.

Getting there.

Anyone here played Lumo?

Is it any good?

Yeah I have it on the xbox and I really enjoyed it up to a point but I kinda got stuck and didn't go back which I should do, as a love letter to the old school days of games it's brilliant lot's of little touches and easter eggs from the 8 bit computing days. If you have nostalgia for that era it will definitely make you smile.

The only downside for me was the jumps could get frustrating later on with the isometric viewpoint especially ones from ropes.

Donkey Konga was a Gamecube game?

Their last full size keyboards was also for Gamecube - the amazing, AMAZING Ascii Gamecube keyboard for Phantasy Star Online (I wish I'd bought one, best controller ever etc.)

(Pokemon typing on 3DS used a much smaller keyboard of course)

Someone has pointed out on twitter that Captain Toad is using the Super Mario 3D World engine.  So if that has already been ported then 3D World itself might not be too far behind.  They'd be bonkers not to port it, really, so its probably just a case of when.

They probably don't think it's worth cannibalising Odyssey sales yet. Odyssey is showing strong legs so maybe an early 2019 schedule filler if I had to make a totally random and arbitrary guess.

If they release a keyboard for the Switch I will pray to every known deity that the Typing of the Dead makes an appearance.

That game was excellent.
