Jesus, that dude doesn't stop to take a breath.  I think it looks ok.  Pretty generic horror game but I'm a sucker for them.

I love horror games too but these days I judge them against Alien Isolation, SOMA etc. I dunno, this looks ok I suppose but nothing really sets it apart.

It's been heavily discounted everywhere, around 20 quid. Seems there is some demand for a Switch version, just not at full price apparently. Not sure what the takeaway from that is for EA.

I think the takeaway is pretty clear for EA - there is a market for FIFA on Switch. If they treat it seriously, there is potentially decent money on the table for them.

Just had my left joycon delivered after having sent it back to Nintendo for repair (a dodgy analogue stick). It's been with them since the very beginning of February, so nearly four weeks since I posted it off. I did get an email a couple of weeks ago telling me the repair had been delayed because they needed to order parts, but I thought I'd note my experience here in case anyone was wondering how long these things can take.

Release day Switch consoles will have their 12 month warranty expire on Saturday*, so if you've had any niggles at all with your hardware, now's the time to sort it.

*Reddit leads me to believe that as EU customers we're entitled to a longer period of cover, but goodness know what kind of complications that introduces after the official first year.

It's not at their discretion to follow the law. If they refuse to comply, ask to speak to their legal team and take them to court. They will soon back down.

Their legal team? You'll speak to some low-level droid who will 'computer says no' you, and then you will take them to the small claims court, and they won't turn up so the judge will find in your favour by default, award you £250 which you will spend about a year of your life chasing them to actually pay, and they eventually will or you give up (or take them to the small claims court again). You will then ponder what a massive waste of your short time of earth that all was.
