Isn’t payday the one that was completely abandoned on the consoles, riddled with micro transactions to open random loot boxes and other shit?

I'm sure the Xbox One version had a game breaking bug. They announced a fix, but the only way to get the fix was to pay £40 for the game of the year edition and they weren't going to patch it in the original release that was less than 12 months old at the time.

Got a 4 hour, each way, road trip to Cornwall coming up. I'll be a passenger.

Need some recommendations for eshop purchase (cheaper the better).

I've already got stardew and Mario kart.

Thanks in advance!

Shortlist  currently is:

Golf story

Mummy

Axiom verge

Binaries.

I can’t believe nobody else has played it. It’s fantastic - it can take ages to work out how to do a level, and twice as long to actually do it. But you know it’s possible, and every failure is your own fault.

In brief, you control two balls, one orange and one blue, through a stage at the same time - the left stick moves them both. The blue ball can touch orange spikes but not blue, and vice versa, and so on. You have to use the stages to manipulate the balls into the correct goals.

Having limited myself in the past I had a weird week of buying lots of games. Some of which I knew weren’t my thing (Count Lucanor) and being proved right...

and a load of games I have no time to play and haven’t even opened yet... Sexy Brutale, Night in the Woods, Oxenfree, Enter the Gungeon.

Owlboy is my biggest regret. I was so looking forward to it and I’m sticking with it but I’m really struggling to find the love for it. It’s beautiful though.

And then a load of other games I will buy and probably not have enough time for... Darkside Detective, Steamworld Dig, Celeste, Old Man’s Journay, Kirby.

Aaarrrrrghhhhhhh Switch I love you x

But if you have £40 burning a hole, DQ Builders is incredible.

Oh nice space shooting game coming for switch from Deep silver. This is what the mobile version of Manticore galaxy of fire looked like

Switch version has been given a big overhaul. Full 1080p docked/720p undocked. No microtransactions etc just a full, big single player experience with a story. More missions and reworked controls for the switch. Might be good.

So the right-stick click has decided to stop working on my right Joycon. God, the build quality of this console is utter shit.

I’m just thankful I won’t have to send back the entire system for Nintendo's risible “repair” service to gleefully not bother to transfer my saves again. Bet it still takes them a month to dispatch the replacement though.

Crikey. I'll have to go back to it.

What was weird was how the later rain level ran like a dream after suffering N64 frame rates for the previous two chapters.

After rinsing it on the Wii U, I'm currently playing MK8 Deluxe again. It really is the tits.

Also, @The Mighty Ash, what the mother f are you doing with your Switches?

Can vouch for this. Went back to it after finally completing BOTW (I only had five hours on the clock previously) and online is bustling and amazing.
