I've got the red Mario Joycons but would much rather the neons, they actually look joyful rather than the ever so drab Greycons.

I bought it with the grey joycons with the caveat that I got the console at launch for £200.  That mistake has since been corrected with a Neon Yellow set.  Simply glorious.

I saw someone with grey joycons the other day on the train, when he noticed me clocking him he turned his Switch off and put it in his bag. Ashamed to game.

 

They should call them sadcons.

What would you say is the best 3d person action/rpg game on the Switch. Ideally open world yet I'll consider anything.

CLEARLY this is discounting Zelda here, because that will win.

I'm after something where by you control one character for a significant amount of time, involving lots of other characters and game world interactions. As noted it could be a huge open world or it could be on a smaller level - i.e. indoor environments etc.

I'd say Dragon Quest Builders offers pretty much everything that you're after.

 

There's a demo on the eshop if you're not too sure .

DQ Builders is my obvious recommendation. It's just the best thing there is.

 

Just name something else. Anything*. DQB is better than that.

 

 

* Apart from BOTW, SMO and Warburtons Crumpets, obviously.

Skyrim and Xenoblade... Skyrim probably would suit more, Xenoblade is a proper JRPG.

Good god just checked my time played and I did 12hrs on Chapter 1 of DQB this weekend. 

 

Just upgraded to a 64Gb SD card as well. Which was tense as I really didn’t want to lose my 120hrs on BOTW, 120hrs on XB2 and my 70hr Stardew save. If your interested it went like this.

 

Switch on pc for first time in 6 months. Yay it’s working 

Card reader won’t work, boo.

I’ll just use my phone,  so swap out the phone SD to my old Switch SD card.

Awesome. I can see the magical Nintendo folder. Copy to PC , excellent, worked fine.

Plug new card into phone, copy Nintendo folder over. excellent worked fine.

Plug New SD card into Switch.

Update needed to use SDXC.So I do that.

Data corrupt on card. So I have to delete all data on card.  Aaaaarrggghh. 

 

Repeat all the above steps and it worked the second time.

 

Nintendo don’t make it easy. All they had to allow was for me to move my save data to the console memory and swap the card, why Nintendo why.

Mine weren't they looked like save data on the memory card? Or was that patch data? Ffs 

 

Check playtime by setting up parental controls and using the app

Not really. It does bare some similarities though. It's kind of link a colour the platforms platformer.

As said it's more of a platformer. I thought it was pretty good at the time and was planning on licking up the rerelease on PS4. Will go for the Switch now.

 

List price of £26.99 confirmed. Can't find an actual release date though.
