What was the name of the retro-styled point and click adventure by the Monkey Island people? Is it regarded as being any good?

Thimbleweed Park?

I played through it on the PC and thought it was merely OK, and that's as a long-time Lucasarts junkie. Lots of in-jokes and a nostalgic aesthetic, but the plot goes off the rails a bit and the ending is frankly balls. Your team of disparate characters start working together for no apparent reason, with almost no interaction between them. It kept me playing, but I didn't feel like my time was particularly well spent, once I'd finished it.

The in-game hint line is a very good idea, though, and well implemented.

Ok, I've reached the end of my Switch game backlog. Nearly.

You all know the stuff I like. What eShop delight should I buy?

Yōdanji by Kemco. It's a neat £4 'coffee-break rogue-like' (their words) featuring various playable creatures from Japanese folkore, with upgradeable move-sets, easily-understood mechanics, an addictive gameplay loop and sprite work that recalls Skipmore's games. It is difficult, but deffo has the 'just one more go mum' factor, all of which makes for a deKaylicious game. Sexbest then, if not quite Acebest.

This sounds great... but I can't see it on the eShop. Is it JP only?

I hate myself for asking this but it’s not in the first post..... I have a long (11hr) flight coming up. What’s the best power pack charger thing to get that will be allowed on the flight (do some have restrictions on these kind of things?).

Perhaps the answer can be included in the first post FAQ as I know this comes up a fair bit!

Some tedious bores will probably be along soon to tell you off for asking a perfectly good question in a relevant but very long thread, but in the meantime I found this article helpful:

To add to Benny’s comment, you should be fine carrying a power bank on board unless you are flying to/from USA to/from Middle East (where the tablet/portable device restrictions may still be in place) and that your hand luggage is within the weight limit :)  Just check your airline pages before you fly for restricted items.

I just flew Qatar LHR-DOH-CPT and wasn’t asked any questions about the plethora of gadgets in my hand luggage :D

I have - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerCore-Portable-Double-Speed-Recharging-Black/dp/B01JIWQPMW/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1517383870&sr=8-11&keywords=anker+power+bank

Possibly overkill but you'll certainly be able to get 11 hours of Zelda in...

Might want to check... most airlines have in seat power supplies for trips that long. Although the power that comes out of the socket may not be enough. United Airlines was fine, on BA the socket wasn’t powerful enough.

Qatar 777s had USB in the arm rest and an actual plug under the seat, too. We didn’t notice the latter at first.
