Any chance of a price drop soon? Or hardware revision? Ready to buy but being put off by the chance of either.

Zero chance this year, if there's any kind of hardware revision I imagine it'll come when the PS5 drops, not sooner. It's selling too well for Nintendo to touch it.

Earth Wars has appeared on the eShop for £4. It's also known as Earth's Dawn and is £25 on Steam.

What is up with the pricing? We all know the Switch versions of games should be the more expensive version.

Earth’s Dawn was a great game even at £20. At this price it’s an insane bargain, to the point where I wonder if it’s a pricing error.

FFS, I was panning on NOT buying anything digital again, but for £4, it's almost like I've stolen it.... thanks for the heads up :P

Yeah, good luck with that on a digital computer gaming system. Amirite, boys?

I'm with Mike, much prefer to buy physical. The day's coming where everything will be digital though.... The day when Steam is actually on your playstation and xbox and nintendo and tv and even your go to store on your mobile phone :P

Isn't the classic, and best version, already available on IOS and Android?

Yep, RCT Classic. Includes most of the scenarios from RCT 1, 2 & Expansions. Doesn't include the old licenced stuff like Alton Towers etc. It's about a fiver and is made by Chris Sawyer, the original developer, himself. One of the best games you can have on your phone/tablet.

I've done fine so far buying cart only software, as I have done with the Xbox 1, only buying things that are dirt cheap and throw away, I see no value in a game at £40 ( or even £20 ) digitally, when I can buy the same game for the same price ( or often cheaper ) in a physical form, then when I am finished with it, can sell it and recoup some of my initial outlay back.

I picked up Zenoblade 2 this morning from eBay for £33 delivered, once I have done the campaign, it will get sold, I should see a good £20-£25 back on it, meaning I played the game for less than a tenner, if I'd bought it off the digital store, I'd now own a licence to play the game forever, but would have no way of getting any of the cash back out of it that I'd put in.

I like playing games, but I don't want to throw money away, physical releases every time, and if it's digital only, well... looks like I'm not playing it ( unless it's throwaway money cheap :P )

Thanks, that’d be much appreciated.

Got my fixed Switch back today and all of my saved data was still there. They haven't replaced the console though so I guess that is to be expected. Not tested whether they've fixed the issue yet (lag on the right JoyCon when being used wirelessly) but their cover letter suggests they've "replaced parts" so I suppose they've fixed something!

Is anyone still regularly using one of those cheap Chinese dock replacement thingys?

Any issues with it?

Perhaps not the time to ask as I already ordered a genuine charger and a dock thing from Aliexpress..

I don't think ALiExpress sells genuine *anything*.
