rllmuk is now deemed canonical. I still use Rllmuk from time to time, depending on autocorrect and context.

Sadly I couldn't change the Facebook page as we had just passed the number of Likes after which they don't let you change.

You should be able to change it if you submit a request. Unless it's already been changed once before.

The name will be the same until I become president. We were discussing taglines but could not agree on one that was universally liked (again this will change when I become president).

Edit - lol can't believe I've had PM's about this.

Just in case it wasn't obvious the above was a pisstake, I have no intention of running for president nor do I want the forum name to change.

Seriously if this doesn't generate tons of new members, I don't know what will..

Another question though; can I watch that show online somewhere?

It will be on iPlayer.

I suspect that getting new users will be a marathon not a sprint, but this is a great start, plenty of links from big sites.

Any tips for non-UK potential viewers? I've been trying to use a proxy website to access iPlayer but it tells me to enable JavaScript, which is according to Firefox.

Someone better create a torrent youtube video so I can download watch it late as usual.

Does tvcatchup work via your proxy?

Why are you tagged "corporate lickspittle" on NeoGAF toythatkills?

Ha, you can click the words in the tag to be taken to some posts I made.

Basically it was people complaining about adverts on the 360 dashboard as if it was literally the worst thing that could ever possibly happen to a person, having to look at a tiny advert in a box on a screen which just sits there doing nothing. MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER DIDN'T FIGHT IN TWO WORLD WARS SO I'D HAVE TO LOOK AT TINY ADVERTS ON MY XBOX. Penny-Arcade had run a story about how much Microsoft were charging people to advertise on the 360.

So I was of the opinion: "what does it matter, if someone wants to pay that much for an advert Microsoft would be insane not to charge that much" and a mod decided I was some kind of Microsoft shill or something. It was kind of annoying at the time to be branded like that despite being totally correct, but now it's quite funny. Every now and then I'll say something pro-consumer and someone will throw the quote at me ("they're a business, they're supposed to make money, why are we grudging them the chance to make money") but they fuck it up 100% of time because it never applies how they think it applies.

I'm actually surprised no one's done it in that thread, come to think of it. I'll complain that Sony stole Pockets' money and say they should pay it back and someone will go "they're a business, they're supposed to make money, why are we grudging them the chance to make money?" like it's the same thing. That's how it normally goes.

It's a jolly good job I'm not in the habit of branding members with titles like that. Timmo's "internationally renowned idiot" is a rare exception. If that's starting to get annoying Timmo, in honour of this great day I'll get rid of it if you like.
