Someone should privide links/quotes for a background of it all. (I'm working, shut up)

I'm looking forward to them distorting everything and Sony getting off the hook with a half-apology.

Eurogamer has just posted a decent summary, you lazy cunt.

I am disappointed that Pockets is referred to as 'writing on NeoGAF'. :(

Yeah that's true. I did post in the EG comments but they probably don't read those either.

I'm not even that bothered that I did basically all the work for him to waltz in and claim the credit, the reason I made that thread was so that Eurogamer would see it so I got what I wanted. A "thanks" would have been nice though.

Eurogamer confirmed as the cuntiest games coverage on the internet.

And cunty comments to go with it:

One customer leading to a Watchdog broadcast?! LOL

This One customer could just have logged in on another PS3, bought it, and then made a fuzz of it or am I mistaking?

Also, Mr. Phillips, how do you deduct and state it actually is fraudulent? The emails, nor the phone recording indicate so. Where do you read confirmation that "it was somebody else"?!

Sounds like the YLOD Watchdog farce all over again. Remember that? All 5 (!!) consoles were repaired by the incredible PlayStation Repair Action Team. haha. a good laugh after all these years. icon_biggrin.gif

Or is he mistaking? Do tell, Mr. Phillps

You're definitely bothered about it

Best of luck, Pockets. I hope you stuff em!

Yes well done on directing all the traffic to neogaf instead of rllmuk

There's a link in the NeoGAF thread to rllmuk, don't worry.

It's not like Eurogamer have gone all out to cover the rllmuk thread, is it?

You're definitely bothered about it

Okay I am a bit :)

This is quite exciting. What a day. Hopefully PSN execs are having a worse day than Sepp Blatter.

I notice the Sony big cheese Andrew House was saying on an investor call that PSN outages and maintenance are a big focus for this year.

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2015-05-27-sony-admits-first-party-lineup-a-little-sparse

Although he did say "I would characterize 2015 as the beginning of a harvest period for the PlayStation 4 platform. The beginning of a harvest period."

Which is a bit scary. Is he after our organs? What rights have I signed away?

Why are you tagged "corporate lickspittle" on NeoGAF toythatkills?

All these sites are using my name without giving me money. WHERE IS MY MONEY?! I was only ever in it for the money and there is none! There better be some hot chicks up for angry ageing gamer action after all this.

Sony took it.

And jesus, those Eurogamer comments. It boggles the mind how anyone can side with Sony on this but my word some people are doing their absolute fucking best to do it despite how little sense their conclusions make.

I'm going to clean up the argument from earlier, so we don't scare off the flood of new people this great event is going to bring us. I've added links to the blog and the original thread. Anything else I should do to make things nice for the international media and celebrities that are going to join us?

You're all going to be so disappointed when you see my heavily edited 30 second appearance and it's as awful as I remember it being. I'm a terrible shit person and you shouldn't get your hopes up for anything special.

If any press want to talk to me I will only be interviewed by GiantBomb in their San Francisco offices, at their expense.

That sounds reasonable to me, you're OK with sharing a torn cardboard box with a pile of strategy guides and a case of expired energy drinks, right?

I'm not really that keen on being splashed across these sites to be honest. I was reluctant to even go on Watchdog and would have preferred to remain anonymous but at least they're all using my comment about why I pursued it and how the whole thing was just funny after a while. I have a feeling the Watchdog thing may make me come across as all angry about £40 before switching to a story about a pensioner who got done for £10k on a roofing job or something.

The £40 could affect tens of thousands of other people. It's a relevant gripe.

It was totally worth pursuing even for £40. The amount of people this has happened to, if nobody ever makes a fuss then Sony get a lot of £40s.

I reckon if you contact them now you could get a picture of yourself looking sad into tomorrow's Daily Mail and they'll probably give you a hundred quid for it.
