New people: say hello here, let us know how you found rllmuk!

In my first ever post here I asked if there was an introduction thread. You can imagine how well that was received. So yeah.

Fuck off Graham!

Typical!

Sorry new people, you'll have to put up with that sort of thing around here. Don't be shy!

Oh God. Look, can you regulars all just go into the back and play pool or something. I'm hoping cool new people will be coming in any minute. I'm wearing my best shirt, I combed my hair and everything. I'm going to keep this winning smile fixed on my face for however long it takes.

Ha, I was just about to suggest that. The news that we are begging for members (fnarr) is bound to generate an article series at the very least.

I've been lurking since the beginning i think (around 03 ish?) Can't tell exactly as my account was deleted, although i did make 1 post at some stage, think it was a lurker related thread iirc.

No idea how i found this place, probably through gamesradar or ntscuk,

I like the place, especially film and tv, off topic too.

D'ont play much games lately...enjoyed Pillars of Eternity, which got me into a bit of research of crpg's and i just finished Baldurs Gate EE.

Bye!

You are my new Best Friend!* Welcome.

Now you've got to finish 2, or maybe wait for Adventure Y first.

* truly a scary prospect

(also welcome to Sam)

Is it ironic that this post is welcoming new members but by being a pinned topic and soon a megathread it's also the same thing that's.. pushing people away!

'Ello! I've been a lurker for freakin ages so it's kinda nice to see a thread like this. :-) No idea why I haven't posted much, I guess a sorry is in order!

Think I originally heard of this place from friends at uni in Hull a good 10 years ago or so.

I'm Sam though. I live in Leeds and I'm a Principal (software) Engineer for Sky.

Recently started a social group called Leeds Videogame Club, to meet new friends with an interest in games. We've had two meetups so far - the most recent of which involved chat, drinks and Mario Kart 8 in the pub. Had a turnout of around 25 people.

Hi!

Christ, mate! We asked you to say hello, not give us your bloody life story!
