It's currently 2x xp in Bounty Hunter at the moment, not a huge fan of the mode personally but close enough to Gen 5 to justify it ^^ Having a blast on this atm, with a bit of a games drought on Xbox and also playing WoW again this serves me fine for a couple hours most evenings. Recently fallen in love with the Spitfire after having a week or two hogging the CAR. 

 

Love how basically every weapon is doable with a bit of learning, still shit with the Snipers but everything else is fair game. Even started mixing up my Titans a bit as I'd been using nothing but Ion since the start.

Struggle to see how snipers are viable as a class for whole games, it simply moves too fast. Handy to have a loadout for counter sniping campers though, funny how long people think they can stay still for. :rolleyes:

Been watching a lot of Vaughny lately, on PC but man it gets me wanting to play every time. 

 

 

 

Still as fast paced on PC but fair play to the guy his movement is insane. I feel I've been steadily improving now I've been playing constantly for an hour at least a day.

I posted a video in this thread of a PS4 Kraber player which was pretty bonkers. 

I remember it because someone said that using a sniper rifle in Titanfall was like going to the fat duck and only eating bread or something. It sticks in my head because I am a bit pernickety about bad analogies and it was the worst I'd ever heard.

Well to be fair because of how fast paced the game is, if you can snipe and snipe well, I admire you more than someone running Tone + R97 all the time, literally the biggest cheese strat lol. Trying to use more skillful/underpowered titans/weapons when I can, been using Ion since launch so fancy a change up, either Scorch or Northstar at the moment.

Yeah anyone who can run and gun with the Kraber has my undying respect. I took a fancy to the Double Take banner and spent hours being woeful, but great fun on slow moving games when it gives you the edge at middle distance with the stock sights.

Aye the Double Take is good fun cos you can kind of get away with mid distance fighting as you say. Would love to get good with the DMR/Kraber though just don't think I have the patience.

I was always a Tone player, love the setup with him. Scorch is always my go-to Titan on more cramped maps. Nothing better than trapping an enemy and melting them with your shield.

 

I've just started using Ion, really enjoying it.

An awful lot of Kraber shots I've seen are done from the hip. It's an instant kill almost anywhere it hits (I think) and doesn't drop power or accuracy at range (again, I think). Plus the rounds are rather large

Aye I can barely hit them scoped in and standing still no way am i doing hip aiming, have learnt though the majority of the guns are so much better that way. Hip aiming + gunrunner all the way.

Using the Volt a lot atm, started doing matches with just the Wingman Elite as well, such a satisfying weapon. Had a lot of people using the G2 tonight though which triggered me somewhat considering how OP it is!

Yeah, I've never really got on with the G2 but you see some very lethal players with it. I presume some of them may (MAY), be using elite controllers with hair trigger settings, such as the speed they get those shots off. (G2 is a semi auto). Or they're just really good at it.


Wingman Elite is awesome, it's like a mini sniper rifle :)

Decent enough that I don't have to wait very long and suspect this will bring a flood of new players, too. The single player campaign is easily worth £12 on it's own, anyway!

Not overjoyed with the latest patch notes.

 

Sidearms (wingman elites and Mozambique) can now be equipped as primaries and are buffed - ok, whatever.

 

Arc grenade is now a sticky and has a .75 fuse - in other words, NERFED TO HELL :(

 

Attrition is now 650 score limit or 15 minutes - nah. Too long.
