Since Woolly Yoshi is being launched with its own game I would hope that Nintendo would be planning to make more than they would for a more obscure Smash Bros character, but at the same time its unique design is probably more difficult/expensive to make.

Ordered all 3 Yoshi colours separately for £37.47 in total. Had a GAME 50% off Amiibo code that was only meant to work on 1 character, but found that if I added one to my basket, then applied the code...I could add the other Yoshi after and it would take off some from each one. Tried it on the Triple pack of course, but it wouldn't work,

I think the RRP for the Woolly Amiibo is hiigher because they cost more to manufacture than the plastic ones, would certainly explain why they cost more. Hopefully it's that and not greed GAME are charging £20 each for them.

They were around £16 on Amazon DE, I reckon the genuine retail price will be £15.99 or even less. Game and ShopTo now seem to be putting their own £4 charge on top of every Amiibo sadly. I don't begrudge them, they are businesses after all and we live in a free market. But what I don't like is them lying about the RRP on their sites. No doubt these will be cheaper on Amazon and Nintendo, at which point I will cancel all my GAME and ShopTo preorders.
