That's more than the standard game costs at Amazon. I've had shit experiences with The Hut/ Zavvi where they'll have an item in stock but wont send you it if you ordered it too cheaply. I've had things shown as being in stock awaiting dispatch for months on end and they just wouldn't send it. They'll offer to cancel the order and sell you the item in stock for the higher price though.

Managed to pre-order both Splatoon + amiibo and Yoshi's Woolly World + amiibo.

Tbh, thanks to the fact that there really is only one big videogames retail chain in Belgium, and the fact that they have a strict one order per customer policy, it is not too hard to secure a copy over here. Seperate amiibo are a different story though.

The import limit in the UK is £15 so you shouldn't get hit for customs, I don't know how much it is where you are. If it is you're probably going to have to add £11 on top of which £8 is the admin charge Royal Mail add on for paying the import fee for you.

You could always try Play-Asia where it's pot luck you'll get hit with a fee in my experience.

Oh, I've seen that listing, but everyone keeps telling me that shipments from Japan can get charged extra majorly by customs

What do you think?

Yeah, tread carefully! I've been stung 2 out of 3 times last time I ordered something from Japan. A €20 faceplatesuddenly cost €50. Same case with a figma Link :( But yeah, if you stay under the acceptable limit, it might turn out fine.

Reading this thread makes me laugh. A couple favs is understandable but anything beyond that is a waste of time, money and shelf space. It simply doesn't sound fun to collect either.

Fuck Nintendo's inability to stock shit. Fill those shelves with games instead.

Or shrugging and deciding if they hate money they don't have to have any of mine.

Tbh, there's a couple more I might like but I'm not even looking into them because if they're going to play silly buggers with stock I don't care enough.

But I'm sure making about 4 of an expensive to design product, selling them for normal margin and watching ebay idiots get 10 times that for them is a profitable enterprise because

I'd love to be able to get Woolly World + Yarn Yoshi bundle but reading this thread I don't think my chances are very good :( You've got to be there within 10 mins of them going up which is near impossible.

Go back a page. Try your luck at The Hut - their version clearly states that it includes a Green Yarn Yoshi. I have heard they're a bit shit, but I'm willing to risk it in lieu of no chance of a Yarn Yoshi.

I've taken a punt on the hut, i assume it won't come through but you have to be in it to win it!

I also have several sites open and keep refreshing them, i have spent more time searching for bloody amiibos than playing on the wii u this month :facepalm:
