now I'm envious, nobody will be at all surprised that Game's claimed thursday despatch has proved to be total BS and I've not had a delivery. Its not the failure to get it early thats annoying, its allowing the shite hawks at Game to give me hope that grates.

I'd say longer than Fallout 4, but you die less in this and there's no transition to new areas. I can imagine it kills dead the idea of retrying challenges though!

Here's an example of the loading time on the PS4. The loading between failing missions isn't as long, but is still noticeably long IMO

Would watch again, keep them coming!

I'm loving it , but as simmy said , the load times are horrendous . The worst culprit is the challenges you can do . When you want to retry them, it takes ages to load them back up .

Yep they've got to fix this. It's really bad at times.

How are you finding the frame rate? It was a slideshow last night for me at one point when I was in a helicopter blowing shit up!

Loving this, loading times are horrendous and hopefully they get patched soon. Otherwise, it's great fun. Night is really pretty and the daytime so colourful, the perfect palette cleanser for MGSV and FO4.

Quick question though - on boom island when the game was installing I could click the right stick for precision aim - in the main game, it doesn't work? Is this a glitch?

I think it's just the weapon ability. The assault rifle you start with seems very basic and must be why right click aiming isn't working. You pick up a sniper rifle fairly early on and that has working right click aiming.

Precision aim is a mod I believe, in that island you are a bit powered up, like having 4 grapples

Absolutely loving this, it's a blast - true open world and freedom and kept all the old cool things from 2 I loved, but amped them up massively. Just recalled I used to like detaching mini guns from the entry points to bases and yep they're still there.

Voice acting is also suitable hammy

Looks cheap as fuck.

Did we expect anything else? I'm so into buying standard editions of games these days. I'm amazed people still buy cheap tat editions. It's like they've lost sight of why they're buying the game in the first place.

Mind you, the art books I like. At least you're getting some insight into the creative process.

Anyone else getting network and frame rate issues on PS4?

Otherwise, played a couple of hours so far. Doesn't feel hugely different to the previous game, not a bad thing, but I've yet to see what is really new.

I think Square Enix's servers are taking a hammering or something. It keeps dropping every few moments on the Xbox One version and also on PC. It's annoying as it sits for a while whilst it tries to reconnect.

Yeah, I'm getting that too. Worse still is that after it times out and you get the option of playing off-line, even if you do choose it and carry on, as soon as you hit the map button it auto tries to connect again.

I thought it was PSN being shitty again, but if the same issue is happening on XBL then it must be Square Enix I guess.

I wonder if this would not have happened had I not have made a Square Enix account and linked it to PSN.

well yeah, it's £15 more than the standard game on consoles !

I liked the Fallout 4 Pip Boy backlash the most. Gamers expecting a premium quality replica with genuine weathering , working geiger counter and tuneable radio for £40 extra lol keep on dreamin'. Don't they realise places like sideshow charge 100's of £'s for a reason
