EA seem to be slowly building up third-party support for their rental service, they're getting Jonathan Blow and a bunch of other indies to put their games there too:

I don't expect FIFA until the later stages of the World Cup at the earliest, thanks to the recent update and the new packaging that went with it.

 

Edit: nope, seems the rumours were true. Launching the game no longer brings up the trial pop up. I expect the vault will update in time.

How they managed to say this with a straight face... I certainly wouldn't want to play Poker against whoever it was.

Maybe they changed their mind when they decided to take half of the games away from PS+ and realised that doesn't bring value anymore.

 

btw it was confirmed this morning there will be new NFS and Plants vs Zombies (no idea if GW3) games released this year between October and December.
