Did anyone else get another Zelda update this morning?  Any ideas what it was for?

Version 1.1.2
Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

Could be anything, but it's nothing major

Im really stumped my the Gerudo tower shrine. I've hit the pad with an arrow while it was lit up, I've glided to it and lands on it when lit up, I think I even did the weapon smash thing on it when lit up but still nothing happens. :(

You're approaching this from the wrong perspective...

OK, so what's the deal with electric-resistant elixirs, food, etc, if when I take one I still get zapped to hell by those floating, prancing bastards who throw electric balls at you?

I was trying to approach a tower that's surrounded by water, guarded by a few of those floaty prancers, and Lizfaldos (henceforth known as Nick Faldos) carrying thunderbolt staffs swimming around. I had a mid-level elixir, so necked that and (literally) waded in, but was constantly getting zapped by all involved, dropping my weapons, etc. It was only through a war of attrition (and consuming lots of food) that I managed to kill a couple and get to the tower.

That was a tough tower to do - those floaty guys are hard to avoid. I tried finding the approach with the fewest enemies, albeit longer to travel, and snuck past as many as I could. I spammed 'X' and used stamina potions to climb up and out of line-of-sight ASAP when I got to the tower base.

I hate those 'floaty prancers' - they're elemental creatures, so the ice and fire ones are easy to deal with but hard to target as they never keep still. Best bet if you don't have a multi-shot bow is to hit near them so they investigate and stand still for a moment.

I think it's the one I found the hardest; followed by a couple of ones with corruption covering the lower vantage points. Maybe the one with the flying Guardians on the approach up the mountainside.

It's one where the divine power from the bird beast might help, as that particular tower has no vantage points nearby to fly in from to avoid enemies - I did it way before I had that power (I did the elephant, then opened up all the towers before returning to the other three beasts).

I just killed all the lizards and wizard things before climbing.

Yup me too :)

My youngest didn't kill any of them and used the ice pillars to cross the water and somehow fluked her way to the top.

While my middle daughter really struggled with it and died a number of times before managing to do it by killing a couple and then hurrying past the rest.

Just got a text from Mrs neoELITE; a copy of Zelda for the Wii U was just delivered. I forgot I'd pre-ordered it via Amazon - It's taken close to six weeks to fulfil the order though

I was going to send it back but my daughter's opened it and is now playing it on the Wii U - last week I got them a second hand Panny Plasma on Gumtree and an old TV unit from a charity shop and put the Wii U in their room; I was officially, 'best DAD EVER' last week. I expect I'll keep the crown as I can't really take it off an 8 year child.

She said she wanted her own Switch and Zelda as she gets a bit grumpy having to play with my save file (I know you can set up another profile but last time I did that, they overwrote my Mario Kart save file with over 200 hours of unlocks on the game) so I am not risking them losing my Zelda file. I am 41 this year and that sounds petty but I've invested over 150 hours of my life in Hyrule.

Reminds me of the Youtube video that shows you how to "skip" to Vah Medoh... by going to Death Mountain and dragging a minecart all the way to Rito Village to do the flying machine trick. Y'know, instead of doing the archery challenge that takes about five minutes. (Also it didn't work.)

You found number 5?

Climb the tree that they surround. There are a couple of places where the final flower is up in the branches of a tree, or on top of a nearby hill, or burnt-out building.

I think this is one of those, if I remember right.

Finally got to Hyrule Castle and started climbing around outside until.... it started raining...and raining....and raining.... despite waiting 2 days it hasn't stopped. Wasn't like this when I got here. Said many times but it's a really shit mechanic, there should be some way of speeding it along or an accessory to get through. A bag of chalk would work wonders.

Just make a fire and skip forward until it stops.

Dammit that Walton and his riddles. I can't work out the last one.

How do you know it's the last one? The only one I had difficulty with was the scales/tail one; I knew what kind of thing it had to be, but didn't have one (just blundered into one, as I recall).

He said it's the last one, so I just assumed it is.

Was that the voltfish?

With regard to your question, yes it was. So for the next one I had the item to hand, and worked out what it had to be from the clue.

Part of a really tough opponent that would hurt if they stepped on you. I mean, the question practically spells it out for you.

I was planning to complete all the side quests, but I just talked to Prima and found out what she wanted and... no, girl. No.

Its that little prick who wants to see all the weaponry that has put me off from completing the side quests. I know the reward will be rubbish, what could he possibly have to offer the Hero of Time?
