I'm currently searching for a third fossil for some scientists, who say 'Oh, but in order to survive up in the mountains it must be in a deep cave somewhere'. i.e. not visible on the map like the other two are. Thanks a bunch, fellas.

Found it - by looking for potential locations for a cave entrance on the map.

But that wasn't all I had to do; oh, no, had to puzzle my way in.

Still, it was a pretty sweet location; very atmospheric, even for this game. Almost completed my open side quests (I expect I haven't found them all, of course). Just that bloody weapon collector - what was it? A windshearer or something? Anyone have a clue what that is?

He tells you where each on is!

Not really - he mentions the entire bay and a spit of sand that's miles long.

Can anyone tell me how much this costs to download, is it still £60? The Switch is in stock at my local Argos, very very tempted to go over tomorrow and pick one up, but it's £54 for the game. Amazon have it for £8 less, but that's less impulse-purchase-tastic. Shame Nintendo require you to have an actual device to be able to see the prices.

Ah, thanks. For some reason that's nowhere in the results if you try to google it.

Went out of stock as I was trying to check out, anyway... got my card declined the first time too (I bet the switch is a popular item among fraudsters) which I doubt helped.

Had a massive battle yesterday. Not with a lizalfos, molduga, hinox or even  guardian scout. But a cliff. For an hour yesterday I was battling to get up a cliff face. My stamina isn't too high and I wanted to rely only on my wits to get up there, finding the odd little ledge to rest and then continuing. But I kept misjudging, mistiming, and falling. Over and over. In the end I made it by climbing a wind mast and then flying over to the other side of the canyon I'd been stuck in, and it was a great feeling. But then I was so high up that the temperature had dropped severely. Even Link's warm clothes didn't help. So I built a campfire  and bedded down for the night, planning the journey ahead for tomorrow.

This game.

Completely stuck on one shrine quest, it's a complete farce. It's called fragmented moments and I need to take some pictures of a broken monument which is scattered around the south east beach area into tiny pieces. It is not fun. I'm tempted to check a guide as I'm wandering around aimlessly.

I'll try again tomorrow, if it takes more than 10 minutes I'm gonna cheat. I found one that was near him and another that was in the water beside some rocks. Maybe if I use my camera it might tell me where it is?

Spoiler

If you follow the beach armour there's a bit of sand sticking out into the water just opposite where you found him. It's under a tree there. Fuck that shit.

The big Ninjas drop them.

Searching the game name with "Switch UK Price" after it seems to find the Nintendo page for it generally.

I'm rinsing the swamp/jungle area trying to find the last piece of

rubber

armour. The other sets came naturally, but I'm making a right adventure out of this one. So much fun.

Korok seed markers are a good indicator of fully explored areas of the map. You see a set of them bunched up and you know you've done all you can there.

it would be funny if when you had a Bokoblin arm on your back it occasionally pinched Link's arse

I put one on the wall of my house and it looks like a titty grabber.

Titty grabbers are things, right?

I baked an egg custard. The cookery is so good. It's like clearing out your fridge and seeing what you can conjure up.

Found out what I think I was doing wrong in that shrine (aim for the moment)

Spoiler

I was firing an arrow to hit the switch which opens the final gate, but I was using a duplex bow, so I think the first arrow was opening the gate, the second closing it!

Where the hell do I find Sunset Fireflies? The Guide says Kakariko village or Korok forest. None to be found. Do I need to wait around until dusk? What do they actually look like - are they the green fairy-like things you sometimes see near fairy fountains? If so I've tried and failed to get anywhere near them many times.

Yes, that's them. Either wear stealth gear or creep up on them.

There's a little bit of music that plays every now and then; only about 8 notes, that really sounds like a piece out of Ferngully. And every time I hear it I get intense, nostalgic sensations about my childhood.

My wife reckons the first few notes of the Stone Talus battle theme sounds like Westlife's 'No Matter What'.

...

Cannot be unheard. :(
