I found it under the bridge straight away (Magnesis is incredible for finding hidden metal objects), but I couldn't get close enough to it. I tried from both sides and from the bridge, so I left it, thinking my Magnesis would be upgraded at some point.

On my way home from work yesterday it suddenly hit me: I could freeze a block in the water and climb onto it.

What bridge? I've been looking for ages for this.

I posted the same earlier. It's had me stumped for yonks! I'm just sitting down to try again now thanks to a slight hint from @nakamura earlier.

This is as bad as working out how to get Jabu-Jabu's mouth open.

EDIT: Fuck me. Now that was pretty obvious really. FFS I feel stupid now.

Just done Eventide. Brilliant bit of game design. Took two goes though, as just about to complete it the first time in a thunderstorm, when the last lowly Bokoblin comes running at me waving a metal sword. I laughed, paused what I was doing, pulled out my wooden club to smite him, then saw his sword was crackling with static. Oh shit. Before I could get away he was hit by lightning and I was in the blast radius. We both did the electric boogaloo and game over.

Muthafucker.

This game etc.

Need some help in Zelda without too much spoilers please:

Captured Memories Quest

Travel to places shown in the pictures, however, I know from speaking to the painter NPC he gave me some direction however, I'm kinda lost where to find the others. Is it a case of travelling or speaking to certain NPCs?

Explore, observe, talk to familiar NPCs when you see them.

Mixed bag tonight.  Did a major test of strength - felt good.  Fell down Tabantha Canyon - felt bad.  That's one motherfucker of a climb back out.

After a botched explosion I dropped a sapphire down a chasm the other night and I could just about spot it glinting back at me from the depths...

An hour later I was back on the path, sapphire in hand.

Oh, f'crying out loud.

I decide to

light all the lanterns around the northern lake, see what happens.

Shouldn't take long, right?

Wrong.

It never stops fucking

raining. I get a bunch done, my branch goes out, as I cut another one, it starts to rain. Or I have to stop because I stumble into a Moblin, take him out, and it starts to rain. Or I slide on rocks, automatically putting my torch out, so I go to relight it. Make my way around the rocks, and two steps from the lantern, it starts to pissing rain, putting out my torch.

I was on my horse (Fluffy) in the Akkala region when I engaged some bokoblins on horseback. I dismounted to finish them off, then leapt back on Fluffy in one smooth motion to continue onto the skull lake. Fluffy did some new kind of animation and suddenly seemed to have an extra stamina spur. Sweet, I thought, I didn't know horses could upgrade themselves over time. So we got to the lake, I did what I needed to do and I whistled for Fluffy. Despite being just up a slope, I was told "Fluffy can't hear your call". Strange, I thought, and put it down to a bug. So I was heading back to Akkala stable, still enjoying Fluffy's new found stamina. I checked the map and the horse icon wasn't where it should be. It finally dawned me: I was riding some other horse! She was the same colour, but didn't have Fluffy's correct mohawk mane. The switch had happened back at the bokoblin battle. I felt very guilty I can tell you.

God, how pretty is it around Rito Village? With the big fella floating around up there. Stunning stuff.

Last piece of map downloaded, I've really enjoyed the towers in this, much more than in Ass Creed. But only about 45 shrines. Struggling to spot them now. And the

Spoiler

snowball rolling one in the mountains

can fuck right off!

One tower left to go, still not advanced any of the Divine Beast quests beyond meeting the Prince of the Fish People.

I've fast travelled a handful of times, mainly to return to NPCs & complete side quests to free up inventory space.

Tamed one horse & rode it to Karikoko village just to see what it was like, then left him at the gate.

I have no need for a horse in this game, it'd be just as good if they hadn't included that. I don't think I'll bother with another one.

I'm really slow at unlocking the towers. I like to unlock one piece, explore that area loads then move on to the next. I like having lots of the map mystery!

BUT I really need to find korok forrest or whatever I've got tons of seeds and no weapons.

Can someone give me some hints? So far I've unlocked the bottom third of the map and worked my way up the edge to death mountain.

I blew almost a full panel of food trying to get to the Death Mountain tower last night. I should have picked up those fire-proof elixirs first. : /  That's the one negative to being able to do pretty much anything in this game, I tend to do stuff cack-handed and in an ultra-difficult fashion, afterwards I feel like an idiot.

That Royal Claymore though! I twatted a Lizalfos off a cliff side and he went flying down the hill, tumbling for miles. The rag doll is so much fun.

Try talking to people at stables. They usually give some quests which send you to main settlements.

Ah, is that how people are unlocking the Fierce Diety and Skyward Sword sets?

Haven't a clue! I only know that several work with the game. You can only write a amiibo to a NFC cards once, so i only really bought enough to cover the amiibos i own.
