Bloodborne - GOTD edition

Elden Ring is phenomenal. It’s the culmination of everything that From have honed and tweaked and crafted over so many incredible games. 
 

But it’s not as good as Bloodborne.

Took down orphan of kos before heading out the door for some day drinking catch up with an old school friend. Feels like a very perfect sixth form day. 
 

First boss that properly floored me. Took probably 30 attempts. Learning more each time.

And now finished all three endings. 
 

Genuine melancholy that it has finished. It’s a superb game that I enjoyed so much more than the first time round (and I loved it back then). 
 

So different to Elden ring, boggles my mind I’ve played them both in the same year. 
 

Genuine 10/10.

I completed Bloodborne tonight, first play-through, I’ve been playing it fairly regularly since Christmas Day, and I’ve loved almost every minute. It’s the first From titles I’ve beaten. I didn’t get the proper ending, but I did fight and kill Gerhman. So I could move on, or I could NG+ and do it all again! I’ve still got the DLC to play too, so looks like I’m not quite done yet.

 

Also, I’d like to get all the umbilical cords and fight the Moon Presence. I didn’t beat Martyr Logarius, so I’ll need to do that too.

 

Anyway, what a game! It’s incredible, and unlike Elden Ring, where the idea of starting it over really doesn’t appeal to me, I could quite happily spend another 60+ hours with Bloodborne.

 

Does it tell you anywhere in the game how long your play time is?

If you manually go to load a save it should have it there (I think)

The DLC is awesome - if you have a save before the end game I'd do that.

Actually I cant remember the point where it actually ends.. I restarted from fresh to do it with the DLC...

I visited the first part of the DLC, it’s quite good for farming health packs. I didn’t reach any bosses though. Sadly I haven’t got any manual saves, so I’m playing NG+. However Paul Gascoigne is kicking my arse this time around! I blame all the fog, if only he’d just share it…

 

I tried to get back into Sekiro, but it seems my new skills from Bloodborne don’t transfer over 😂
