Thanks! It was taken at Asakusa Temple in Tokyo.

Senso-ji? I'm trying to picture where you took it. Is this looking back down toward the rows of shops?

I'm off up to Tokyo on Thursday and can't wait to get stuck in with my camera! : )

That's right, this was towards the huge avenue of shops.

I'm hoping to go back to Japan later this year but I still haven't finished uploading all my pictures from the last trip!

Really nice sunset pics Rev. I was on holiday on a Greek island called Hydra last week, absolutely beautiful place, I really went overboard with the camera. Was the first time I'd used a circular polarising filter - makes such a huge difference.

Some very different sunset shots:

Thanks mate, really liking yours as well, lush colours!

How'd you get on a specific island there btw, did you go by boat yourself?

Cheers, the sky was quite hazy which meant the light from the sun was spread quite evenly across the horizon.

I got a hydrofoil there from Athens, took about an hour and a half. Hydra's a lovely place - very small, not too touristy and no cars on the island.

Yup, nice pics MrPogo, one thing that I forgot to say is that you've saved them as Adobe RGB files it seems, and that you should use sRGB at least when posting to the web.

This is because most browsers are not color managed (only Safari supports that I think), and will display your Adobe RGB file as if it's an sRGB regardless, probably resulting in "flatter" colours.

Looks correct to me in all browsers, but I'll switch from now on just in case

In other news, here's a few from the Ministry gig last night:

Brilliant shot scribble, I'm feeling very drawn in to this photo and I'm not quite sure why!

I bought me a new D80 over the weekend, which came with a 18-135mm lens. So I went for a little walk to Richmond Park (a goldmine when the weather is right):
