I've spent ages trying to get my setup right and still get a lot of Aim contoller drift. It wasn't too bad with Farpoint to be honest, but it's really bad in Firewall Zero Hour, and not great in Borderlands 2. It's such a shame as I really like it as a controller.

Huh...i've just read that bluetooth devices can affect it pretty badly. Might explain why i always get left side drift as i wear my smartwatch on my left wrist.

Ah now that is interesting, I'm trying to think when I got my Garmin and whether that coincides with getting Firewall.... Hmmm. As I say I found it fine for Farpoint.

Dug out the PSVR to play with the kids. Had a good laugh on Astro Bot and then a decent session on Resident Evil 7.

Hopefully beat sabre will be on sale at somepoint.

Anything else that's fun in short bursts?

I've got Rez already.  Tetris I've not bought as I didn't really get on with it when I demo'd it.

Statik. Fantastic puzzle game where the couch can participate.

Another vote for Statik, it's very good.

I'm also enjoying The Room VR at the moment (although I am playing it on Quest). Very well put together puzzle game that I would imagine peple can participate in if they are watching the social screen. Although it might be a bit on the creepy side for young kids.

thinking of taking advantage of the current lockdown to revisit VR - when i had it before I had to stop due to motion sickness but I don't think i gave it a chance and didn't build up to it properly, plus the kids are desperate for me to get one again as they loved job simulator. Anyone want to sell their setup, or know of a decent place to grab one, let me know!

Headmaster is amazing.

As I’ve said before, it totally captures the ambience of playing under floodlights, on a dark winter night.

ooh that looks good.  About to buy it. shame I didn't see it when on sale. Has been £5 at it's lowest. £15 ok I guess?

At £15 you may consider it a bit... light. In terms of content. But bags of replayability

so, VR bought again. Any games on sale you'd guys recommend? I have VR worlds, job simulator and superhot from my last PSVR adventure..

also - any recommendations on a nice stand for it? one that will charge the moves (ordered) and DS4's even better, maybe even one with added cooling for my OG PS4

thanks guys - going to have a good read through this thread now

Lety me know what Blood and Truth is like.  Been thinking of getting that in the sale.

it's an extended onrails cock-er-ney knees-up shooter, if you've played the london heist on PSVR Worlds, (there's a demo too), then you've played a lot of this.

for example, the van shootout on the A12, in the london heist, becomes a pickup truck in iraq.

but they add in some motion control. it's not quite SuperHot, but it's fun, you know?

Blood and Truth has amazing action sequences, separated by overly long, unskippable cutscenes that kill off any desire to play through the game a second time. Making it into a VR movie was incredibly misjudged as the plot is boring, the acting is poor and the cut scenes don't have anything for you to do while you wait for them to finish. There are loads and they drag on for aaaages.  Blood and Truth is close to being one of the best games on PSVR and the cut scenes ruin it completely. Buy it on disk, enjoy the first playthrough and flog it afterwards.

Blood and Truth is great fun while you're playing, but it does spend too long in terrible cutscenes like dumpster said, and also has several unnecessary Uncharted style walking while someone talks sections.

It's also full of cockney swearing, which might be an issue if you're hoping to play with your family.

I'd recommend Superhot VR over Blood and Truth for a family. Maybe that crazy hard Time Crisis-a-like, Crisis VRigade.

My kids are 19 and 14 sooo I'm ok (well not that ok) with a bit of swearing.
