Hold on, hold on. The Pro isn't a necessity for PSVR? If it's not I'm getting this cheap Skyrim bundle as soon as it's available.

Nope it’s not a necessity at all . You won’t miss what you don’t have if you see what I mean .

Me too. Plus we already have Rigs and Until Dawn Rush Of Blood from PS Plus. Gonna save it all up for Xmas.

Oh shit, you're right. Forgot about the PS+ freebies. And Resident Evil 7 for £15 on Amazon. Time to get on board, I guess!

I (don’t) like how that story is missing the keyword ‘Rats’ at the start, nor how it fails to mention that they are RAT brains until the sixth paragraph.

Edit: Oh, that was three years ago? Ah well, those rats will have their VR legs by now and will be FUS RO DAH-ing their way around Skyrim tomorrow.

Bit of a pisser, shopto have the same bundle, plus Farpoint and 2 move controllers for £299.99, but Amazon won't let me cancel now.

Bah, really? I'd rather have that as well. Can't find it on shopto's shockingly shit website though - just Gran Turismo Sport bundles. Got a link?

I just read that there aren't built in headphones. How does that work then? The sound comes out of my TV a couple of metres in front of me?

Can I at least plug in earphones or something?

Yeah, just plug in a normal pair of headphones. :)

It does come with earphones, doesn't it?

The V2 breakout box is a pretty big deal if you own an HDR TV if you ask me. I have both a V1 and HDR TV and I definitely don't play it as much as I would if I didn't need to cable swap. If it was released back in the time of wired controllers, scart switch boxes and non digital get off your arse to change the disc games then I could see it not being that big of a deal but along with the worry of harming the hdmi socket I've just become accustomed to gaming from the couch. Everything is a button press whilst on the settee. I'm the least lazy of people but it's just how the pass-time has progressed, it was always heading for ease of use becoming the way to consume gaming as to me it's something I do to chill. Getting up and yanking out cables takes that a step back and it's a step I'm hesitant to fully embrace. Don't get me wrong I love my PSVR but as a 2016 gaming product it was a fucking stupid oversight.

Sorry, I went to bed. It was through some convoluted bundle builder, but I think it's only with GT now, and the price has gone up.

If I don't have HDR capabilities and am unlikely to in the near future (Very happy with my current display device) waiting around for the V2 headset is pretty pointless yes? The current deal is incredibly tempting.

I would say definitely, assuming that this isn't going to be a new price point going forwards, you are saving in the region of £150. The deal really is incredible.
