Should I get a TV bracket for the camera so it can sit at the top of the tv?

It comes with a sort of foldable rest thing that should work just fine . You just hook it  over

I just assumed the camera had to be in front of me when playing similar to the Camera Playroom game which I've tried in the past.

Ok next question when downloading the demos & experiences yesteday I noticed the warning about not letting kids play under the age of 12?

Even though the spiderman experience is poor my youngest (6) loves spiderman & would enjoy it.

So yes or no to kids younger than 12 trying out the PSVR?

You're right, you do have to face the camera. So in Captain's photo he'll be sat facing the fire place.

10-15 minutes a go? Yes.

10 hours a day? No

@gospvg This is true. You do need to be facing the camera. The TV is irrelevant.

you don't need to be facing the camera.

it just needs to be able to see the helmet.

I mean, I've lost count of how many times I've finished a session and found I'm not facing the camera on top of the telly.

Thanks for the replies on the kids question, I will let them dabble for 5 to 10 minutes to experience VR.

I am sure I will have more questions once the unit arrives.

PSVR is amazing @gospvg. You'll have a blast.

As others have said, PlayStation VR Worlds is a great package, especially when introducing VR to new people, but the US demo disc (on the American PSN store) has enough there to play with first.

My favourite PSVR experiences so far:

  • Rez Area X
  • Farpoint (with the Aim Controller)
  • Arkham VR
  • Robot Rescue on The Playroom VR
  • Statik
  • Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
  • Job Simulator

Personally, I reckon there's absolutely tons of games available for PSVR right now, and that library is growing each week. I've got more games than I've got time to play them right now.

This may not work on your account but you're welcome to try since I no longer have PSVR.

I just got that email and was going to post a screenshot for someone to use it... but it's the same code: MNEF-HQNT-MCBP.

Soooo... maybe everyone should get in on this and see if they're lucky?

Well then it's difficult to say.  The music is fantastic, it's totally immersive with headphones on and I would reccomend it in a second at that price.

However I have bought Rez 4 times since the initial release (Dreamcast, PS2 + Trance Vibrator, 360, PS4 VR) and absolutely adore it so I'm not necesarily the most objective commentator.

It's a wireframe, rythym-action Panzer Dragoon in space.  What is not to like?

I wasn;t a massive fan of Rez on DC. I mean it was ok, but I never got into it to the same extent as other. Rez VR is a completely different kettle of fish. It is mesmorising, and Area X is just mind bending. Absolutely essential I'd say
