There's a very impressive music demo called Chainsmokers on the Ps store which is free and more than made up for the Spiderman disappointments

Yeah, I saw this at the weekend.  Really is nicely done.

the statik demo is a bit good. I might buy the full game.

In total agreement with Pungee. Finished it last night and thought it was excellent, as I said up thread I really hope they put out a second one with more puzzles. It's a really great idea brilliantly executed. I thought the tracking was pretty much spot on, I think there were maybe 2 occasions when the box wasn't quite where it should be and shaking your hands fixes that.

I've seen some complaints on the internet that some of the puzzles were a bit too obtuse but personally I only found there was only one small section of a puzzle that was a bit too tough to just work out with no other clues (and I ended up looking up the solution and I never would have worked it out), but as I say it was one tiny part of one of the boxes.

Resident Evil 7. Even if you've played through it before it's worth doing again in VR.

I would crap myself, I don't do horror games & playing them in VR would be really scary!

I had this issue as I've mentioned up thread. I would say though just put on the kitchen demo until the point that you will most likely pull the headset off in terror, if only as it makes you understand just how immersive it's possible for VR to be. (Same can be said of the demo of Until Dawn).

I've had mine a week now and while it obviously needs more software I'm really glad I bought it. It's the biggest step change in what is possible for interactivity that I have ever experienced. It may be a bit early cost wise for mass market penetration, which will obviously hurt with regards to games etc, but I am still amazed how incredibly well it works.

My wife had her first go on it last night and was amazed by it, however she had nausea issues, so much that she almost threw up the instant she started playing the little platformer in VR Playroom. Interestingly she didn't have as much of an issue with Rez (although she said it wasn't totally comfortable nausea wise, it wasn't insta vom sensation).

Definitely try the demo.  I couldn't go more than two steps before having to check my surroundings.  The best thing I played in vr by a mile.

I've still not gone back to Rush of Blood after playing the first level (Not that i didn't enjoy it, it was just that fucking intense that I really need to psyche myself up to play it!)

I did like how they added an extra few scares into the intro that weren't there in the demo. The bastards.

May be late to the party on this one, but has anyone else tried Resident Evil 7 standing up?  The rules are, you are not allowed to use the right stick. That's it.

It's insane - plays games with your head.  The presence is unbelievable. When you take the headset off you will have idea where you are facing.

Resident Evil 7 is BRILLIANT and I cannot stress that enough, but it's worth knowing that it plays like a tech demo for the first 30 minutes or so.  Jump scares a plenty set the tone for what is to come, but it never gets there.  People say the game slows down in pace and loses focus the longer you play and that's true to an extent (the salt mines are complete shit and it's a good thing to be able to run through them on easy in about 15 minutes.  But the game comes from the atmosphere, that's what you are paying for.

Resident Evil 7 is mentally claustrophobic at first and the jump scares can be a bit much. But it does settle down, and becomes the best thing on VR.  I am currently trying to nail a speed rum on it in VR, completed it many times and not bored at all.

So PSVR owners what games should I buy to go with my new shiny toy?

To be honest I wouldn't rush out to buy anything yet.

There are more than enough demos on the store to last at least a week, and with so many game types it's a great way of getting your VR legs.

Just downloaded lots off the PS Store. Have only purchased Battlefront for the VR XWing Level & VR Worlds. That will keep me busy for a while.

Batman is utterly amazing. But you should only play it with two moves.

Totally agree, you should definitely experience this game for the first time with a couple of moves. For the same reasons don't try London heist on VR Worlds either.

You can but remember that you don't need to be in front of the TV to play, just in front of the camera.

My camera is mounted on a selfie stick behind the TV, so it can be rotated to point either at the sofa or off to the right of the TV where there is more floor space available.
