I finally picked up a headset last weekend after wanting one for ages - I had about £70 credit at Game doing nothing so putting that towards the discounted bundle was a no-brainer.

It's safe to say I fucking love it :D

This is the first time I've ever tried any sort of VR device and I was absolutely blown away by it - The London Heist and Arkham VR have been my highlights so far.

I swapped Farpoint (As I want to get the Aim Controller bundle later on down the line) for Resident Evil 7 and gave that a go too - Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I don't think I've ever felt terrified playing a videogame before - And I fucking loved it!

Really looking forward to playing a load more over the weekend - I downloaded Keep Talking to last night to play with the missus and I'm eyeing up Job Simulator, Thumper, Rez Infinite and Until Dawn.

Are there any others I should be looking out for?

Pick up the demo thingy - it's got demos of quite a lot of titles. I'll be flogging some games as I get through them - I'll stick em in trading.

Yeah download the demo from the store instead of using the disk - loads more content.

Also the Play Room VR stuff is ace.

I've tried the demo disc that came with it and really enjoyed RIGS, EVE, Tumble (Which I bought straight away!) and Wayward Sky.

Does the download have more games or just longer demos?

Picked up Eve Valkyrie from Smyths for £20, its pretty good, but I can imagine it might get a tad repetitive but the online battles are fun.

The immersion is fantastic.

I've been trying to device between that and Starblood Arena, the Battlefront mission has me hankering for more VR battle action.

Picked up Statik, Polybius and Rez too, I bloody love VR now ;p

I quite enjoyed the rush from Trackmania but I'm not sure about buying it specifically for VR. I'd purchased it before I got the headset. It's pretty fast, my head goes a bit when it switches to first person when going over a speed zone.

On that subject is there any solution to the old motion sickness? I can manage about an hour in say, RE7 and probably Batman but something like the said Trackmania I get those nausea vibes in about ten minutes. If I persist I enter a world of pain that writes off the rest of my day/evening. It's such a killer because I absolutely love being in the VR space up until that queasy point. Need to get myself some nausea pills or something.

And to the poster who mentioned breakout box problems, I'm pretty sure I've had issues with it where my One S connected to another HDMI port has shown interference from the box whilst playing HDR games such as Gears 4 etc. It was remedied by pulling power from the breakout box.

And don't get me going on how you can't play games in HDR whilst hooked up. Such a silly, or should I say Scrooge like cost saving oversight.

After all that said though I'm a big VR fan.

Quick question - while you're playing PSVR does the PS also output what you're seeing to your TV for other people to watch?

Generally, yes - although some games output a different screen for people to interact with.

Tried a few of those demos out earlier;

Job Simulator - Really enjoyed it! Was great fun just dicking around. Is there enough content to justify the price tag or wait for a sale?

Until Dawn - This nearly gave me a god damn heart attack. Can't wait to play more!

Thumper - Holy shit that was awesome. I need this. Now.

Just as an extra to that incoherent not really on the same planet ramble, I played my first game in 4k just afterwards, it really did nothing for me, I just wanted to get back in the VR set and be IN the game again, honestly I'm utterly blown away by PSVR, its 1000% better than I thought it would be.

I've barely touched my VR since that first week. Too much faff to set up and put away, not enough "proper" games and, I know this sounds weird, but I find it a bit isolating. I don't like having my face covered and not being able to see what's going on around me in the real world.

Got non-gamer friends coming round tonight, though. Gonna get them on keep talking and nobody explodes.

Well games are for fun, there's no,point moaning about them, I'd much rather read about people enjoying themselves :)

Get rush of blood! (The demo is on the psvr demos you download from the store, not sure if it's on the disc), much lols such jump!

Not really paid much attention to Skyrim but this could be a great addition to the PSVR library. Although I might have to wait and see what performance is like on vanilla vs Pro, or what the controller options are like...

Im jealous PSVR owners are getting this ahead of us PC tramps.  Between Skyrim on the Switch and this VR version I think I'd much prefer to do another playthrough in VR.  The 1:1 fully tracked hands, inventory management in VR, terrifying dark caves and beasts like Giants and dragons towering above you would be brilliant not to mention tidying your in game house with your own hands would make it the ultimate cleaning simulator.

Is there a way to use the moves for hand tracking and character movement without needing to warp from point to point. I haven't left the bat cave in Batman but I can't see how you could move around using the move controllers like you can with a pad, what with there being no sticks.

Unless I am mistaken, it won't track your hands. It will be played by a pad, I thought.

I could be mistaken but looking at video the hands look detached to give the impression it supports motion control.

Outside Xtra on YouTube have had a mess with it - they played it with move controllers, with full hand tracking.  You move by "teleporting".  Basically it's the point where you want to go and move instantly like some great games have used.  They didn't mention if this was the only option or just the option being demoed, but hand tracking with move controls is definitely in there.
