I'm holding on to mine. I really should play Rush of Blood. But I'm really looking forward to Star Trek. I hope it's not shit.

You need to get a pro.

 I might get pixel gear.

my guess is the remainder of the games will go on sale from the 20th

Taken from hotukdeals but it looks like some VR games have been discounted until the 20th of January:

Werewolves Within - 36% off - £15.99

I didn't even realise this was a thing until yesterday and I promptly bought it once I saw it is a very well done port of the old tabletop game Werewolf.  I had tremendous fun last night sitting around with seven other people with their great looking, expressive characters, arguing it out about which of us is a werewolf and should therefore be killed.

There are a few negatives.  It would be so much better if you could use Move controllers for all the pointing and different gestures, it has a slightly cumbersome emote system, it can take a few games to learn all the roles properly, and isn't as much fun with less communicative players, or those who don't play to their roles properly.  However, I had no problem finding full games and with the right group of players it is quite amazing.

I've got Pixel Gear.

It's good, the tracking for the guns are great and it also has a multiplayer mode, 2 on the TV, one on the PSVR.

Bought.

and is not half bad. Little glitchy at times, but its a good shooter. V. Accurate, I can knock a helmet off quite a distance away, and it gets busy, from a static position, it's all about the reflexes.

if it had some motion through the levels, like a virtua cop lite, it would be the best, but as a shooting gallery it does its thing well.

and for £6...

I bought Pixel Gear and gave it a quick 20 minutes last night between NFL games.

It's clearly not supporting the Pro and thats noticeable from the start due to the bad jaggies on distance objects.

It won't let me select a harder difficulty. I found the default starting difficulty very easy and a bit dull. I expect it to ramp up after a time though. Seems ok.

Holy fuck, starship disco is a bit sodding good. It's like an old tomytronic game that got lost after they made thundering turbos. Not tried importing music yet, but I can imagine its going to have great replay value.

that reminds me, I have to move my music into a folder on the USB stick...

put the music in a folder called /MUSIC/ all capitals.

Dirt Rally will get VR mode - as paid for DLC (10gbp)! Really happy for this, as I was thinking earlier it would be a perfect fit. As seemingly the whole game will be playable in VR the tenner doesn't bother me.

Dirt Rally is getting a PlayStation VR mode - but it'll cost you £9.99 to download it.

The PSVR DLC pack will arrive "in the coming weeks", or as part of a new retail version of the game with the mode built in as standard.

Codemasters' new mode will let you play the entire game in VR and add a fresh Co-Driver mode to rally sections - so a second player can join in and use a controller to give instructions while looking at the TV (while your friend has the VR headset on).

We've seen other games get PlayStation VR support added in, although usually via a free patch or upgrade. Perhaps Sony didn't pony up the cash for Codemasters' PSVR development, and so the studio is now asking for money as a way to recoup costs?

Cheeky as fuck to put the VR in the boxed copy, the download version, yet still charge existing players a tenner.  Plus, whilst Driveclub is amazing on VR (and no sickness if you have a wheel), Dirt will need to be a massive re-write to accomodate VR, as anyone who tried the Richard Burns Rally MOD on the Rift will tell you.  Sickness in seconds.  Seconds.

Good news though.  Within is in the UK store, but it's hidden in the Playstation Apps section, and not the VR section because Sony are idiots.

You're aware that Dirt has had a PC VR mode for months?

(I never managed to quite get the options right with it, but lots of people liked it).

though the entitlement inherent in saying it needs a massive rewrite, but it's cheeky to charge for it, is... stunning. People didn't buy it originally on the promise of the non existent for feature.
