Sorry, but if you spent ages on a method to enable knifethrowing and still need such a wall of text to explain how to get it to work, your controlscheme sucks and leaving it out would have been a better decision.

Agreed. I've given it a five. The throwing side of it really lets it down. It feels like luck more than skill which is pointless for a score attack game.

Throwing seems to be a difficult move for motion controls. Throwing/rolling bombs in Zelda Skyward Sword was also terrible.

Lobbing (so an underarm throw) is ok with the Oculus Rift. Darts I'm not sure about, but that's mostly because I've been worried about hitting the ceiling.

That's a pity, it has some of the best tech to co bat nausea and is one of my favourite VR games. It's weird how people get affected by VR in different ways.

Wow Batman is gonna be good.

The scene at the start is genuinely scary though because those people are SO BIG.

It's shitty with the dual shock though. Probably the worst use of the dual shock in VR so far but I love the fact I can walk around as I have enough room now. I even put a seat where the piano seat is and sat down on it.

Only problem was I felt a big tug and a smash and I ended up pulling out the HDMI from the breakout box, I got a bit carried away :)

Seriously try to save it until you can experience it with Move controllers.. it elevates it to another level!

Conversely I received it for Christmas and quite enjoy it. The gameplay seems pretty simple so far and I can totally understand why people might find it "boring" but even outside of the missions I'm having fun just flying around the world. No nausea yet (again, PSVR is my first experience of "new" VR and the only ill-effects came after a direct assault attempt in Rez) but I'm keen to play more.

Someone else also got me a PSVR game - Super Stardust. It has classic modes that don't need VR but also some neat 3D mode where you're going around the surface of a planet. It's pretty simple stuff but I think it'll be nice to show to others.

Just ran through the entire of Heists plus a couple of shooting galleries. Then I did Luge a couple of times , had a look at some coral under the sea, headed some balls in that dodge game then got up to chapter 3 of Scavengers Odyssey.

All I've heard is that some of these games make a lot of people sick but I don't even flinch.

I tried to get the best possible experience with each. I stood up for the Deep sea dive, I lay down for Luge, Sit for Scavengers Odyssey and did a mixture of the two for Heists.

Having played a large chunk of the entire product I can see why people feel burned at the price tag but I was lazy and was getting itchy so I might agree.

I'd say 14.99 tops is a good price. It's still worth experiencing.

I got Driveclub VR a couple of days ago. It looks like ass - like, seriously terrible and it's a massive shame that it'll never get a proper Pro patch - but it plays brilliantly.

I completely agree. It's ruined all other racing games for me. I used to really enjoy the original drive club, but i find it unplayable now. Nothing beats the feeling of sitting in an open top car like a caterham 7 and battling against other cars.

It does get a little upgrade on the Pro. Though if I was to describe it I would say it looks exactly the same as the standard PS4 with some AA thrown on top to sharpen it up and lessen the jaggies.

The real problem with it is the focal distance. Something the Pro would be able to rectify given half a chance. To be honest it makes more excited for GT Sport and jumping up and down for a Dirt patch (or even Dirt VR re release if its has to be that way)

I would have preferred even less on the polly count just for it to not be so blurry. It feels like it's going to damage my (already shite) eyesight beyond repair. It feels twice as blurry as anything else I've played. It also makes me want hi res VR more than ever.

Yup the R500 or the BAC mono in DCVR and wheel is driving game nirvana .

Yeah, it pretty much autothrows.

They home in on the targets like a bastard in Batman, but you do have quite a lot of control over where you throw them.

Bocce and Disc Golf in Move launch game Sports Champions showed how capable the controller was on day one. Very capable basically. Batman VR  is just interested in making you feel like Batman rather than offering a refined gameplay challenge that I suppose might compromise the accessibility of the experience.  It does the same for object manipulation and interaction too. Compare Batman with Tumble.

I put my sister in Batman.

while the dual shock controls confused the hell out of her and I constantly had to tell her what to do (she doesn't understand games)  she didn't want to come out of it. I literally had to take the headset off her while the old dear was crying out that the tea was ready. She's 38 too lol

I always find it funny how people freeze when there inside VR like they're almost scared to move.

Having a couple of issues with my headset; firstly the tracking seems to "wobble" a bit; I will be stood still but objects in the game world move back and forth slightly, it's especially noticable looking at close up objects such as the consoles in the bat cave in Arkham. I have been through the VR calibration process a few times but it's still happening. Is there anything I can do to improve this?

secondly I think I can fogging the lens slightly as the image seems to blur a bit after a few minutes use, is this a common problem and again does anyone have any suggestions?

Try what Pug suggested a do a complete power down for a few minutes. Even remove the wall plug for a momentt if you want.

Personally I find the distance to the camera can induce this problem you have. If your outside the sweet spot (4feet in my experience) you will start to be prone to some depth movement as the camera is trying harder to figure out the distance between you and the camera.

I have to say I've had less problems since the last firmware update for the PS4 so they must have made some small improvements. Either that or i'm just really good at knowing it's limitations and staying within them.

I tend to use rest mode 80% of the time but i'll make sure I do a full shut down a few times a week just to keep any VR problems at bay.

My in laws tried the VR today and were blown away by it. Mother in law was the best reaction, smoking in the heist and screaming at the shark in Ocean Descent.

There should be a trophy for lighting the cigar with only one dual shock like I did today
