Put the headset on for the first time in ages just now.

Nearly bought Tumble but all I could think about was how much I would prefer it with move controllers. I was even playing standing up since I moved some furniture around and now have a great play space.

Then I had a go on Driveclub and was instantly reminded how blurry it looks. Did that get a pro update in the end?

Having said that I enjoyed it rather alot and I'm fully expecting a sale bonanza in a couple of days on the store.

Really tempted to take advantage of this. I haven't used my headset in about a month and the only thing I'm keeping it around for is Resident Evil 7 but I honestly think I would struggle to play that the whole way through in VR and I reckon the trade-in price for the helmet will crash after Christmas.

I did enjoy my experience with PSVR but there's not really a lot on the horizon I'm interested in and to be honest I just find it a bit of a faff. I sometimes consider playing it after work but just can't be bothered making sure the move controllers are charged, putting the headset on, spending 10 minutes repeatedly cleaning the fogged up lenses before it settles down (maybe I have an abnormally hot face, I don't know.) It doesn't sound like much but it's a barrier I can't be bothered with after coming home from work in the evening compared with just playing a normal game. I have a big backlog of games I want to play, none of which are VR. Also the hardware just isn't quite there for me to have a really immersive experience in terms of resolution and picture quality. I feel like I'm looking through a portcullis and then through a screen door. Maybe in 5-10 years it'll be where I want it to be in terms of ease of use and tech.

For a 15 quid profit a couple of months after release I think I need to cash-in. Not sure if the Move controllers are still hard to find or not but willing to sell them to someone on here if they're interested. Bought them at launch so they're pretty much brand new. PM me if interested.

Yeah this was pretty much my experience. Sold it in 24 hours on Facebook for 450 with the camera i bought on release. I don't miss it at all.

Tumble VR is better with the DS. Manipulating the blocks is far more precise.

Wut?  Objection!

Getting them rotated and spun the right way is far quicker using the triggers and then fine adjustment when you place with the light bar versus trying to turn your wrist 360 degrees. I just found it more awkward with moves.

Thanks mate, will get that ordered today. Does the VR mission then need to be downloaded presumably?

Yup - along with all the updates.  Takes a loooooong time but if you start it tomorrow you should just about get it downloaded for Christmas.... .
