Anyone managed to get rid of the horrible rubber smell from their PSVR?  I cant help but feel when the queesy kicks in this makes it x100, I now have a bit of a pavlovian response to the rubber smell.  Was thinking of getting some sort of wipe to maybe dull the smell?

I actually use a Vicks Menthol stick before I use it. The rubber smell reminds be of the old dentist gas mask I'd have to put on as a kid before an extraction (70's) Christ I feel green just thinking about it.

Hmm, I don't even notice any particular smell really.

Just do what I did and take it off and rub it all over your balls a bit. Then you get the added benefit of knowing, when you demonstrate VR to that friend you secretly hate but who you have a rivalry with and want to show off your expensive and currently unavailable tech to, that they have unwittingly been teabagged and covered in your baw juice.

Kind of like how I stir her tea with my special "spoon" when my wife's annoyed me. I like your style.

I just noticed that I think my lenses are scratched. I've been careful as duck with it. kept it stored away and only used ps cloth!

Firstly how?

Secondly if it's noticeable can I get a replacement headset?

From what I've read up about cleaning them it's pretty inevitable that with a dry cloth cleaning method as advised by Sony the lens would eventually get scratched just by there being dust/dirt particles. If anyone has a PSVR get a torch or hold it under to a light, positioning it around to see the light hit the lenses at different angles and I bet you'll find some scratches no matter how careful you've been. I've got some light scratches they aren't noticeable in use and like you I've been VERY careful; storing it in a lidded plastic container. and when cleaning I've used a hurricane blower first, Nikon lens pen & PS cloth and still it's happened <_<

It is a bit shit. I've treated them more gently and carefully than my first born :(

The Resi demo makes me wonder what PT would have been like if they'd done a VR version.  Utterly terrifying, I assume.  But I'd honestly class the normal PT demo close to the VR Resi demo in terms of being unsettling, so god knows how bad VR would make PT.

I watched Dr Strange yesterday.  There are several pretty trippy sequences in there, and my first thought was "man, I bet these would look astonishing if they did them in VR".

That`s the best thing about VR. The feeling of actually being there. It can turn a rather poor game like Crystal Rift into something worth playing

I do like Crystal Rift, but it does feel rather basic. Man, I'd kill for the original Eye Of The Beholder trilogy (by which I mean 1 and 2).
