Ive got Brookhaven on my Vive and I love it.  Possibly the less precise tracking of the moves, lack of free 360 degree movement and downgrade of visuals make it worse.

How does it cope with 360 movement? Is there a button to snap the view 180 degrees?

Yes, the O button snaps you 180. For this reason and the others you give, I can see it being a better experience on the Vive. I had no problems with the shooting in Rush of Blood, with this I struggled to hit anything at a distance. This is partly responsible for why I didn't find it scary. Instead of fearing things getting closer, I was willing them to get a move on and come at me so I could blow their heads off!

Do we know how well PSVR has been selling?

I predict that it'll sell bucketloads at Christmas. The amazing word of mouth it's been getting is sure to help it tremendously.

An Argos manager suggested the same to me. Quality new tech is always a strong seller.

Also went back to Rez and I'm pretty sure my scores are better than they ever were - still no perfect shotdown rate, but 100% on the first four and 98% on the fifth...

100% shotdown get!

But I missed an item.

How are you guys cleaning the lenses? I know we have been told not to use any cleaning agents but just using the cloth seems to just smear shit over the lenses. I'm sure this will just build up over time...

Just the cloth. I generally use my PRS guitar cloth which is a really nice cloth:)

have to give it a good scrub though and eventually it will lift the dirt off.

Cloth only for me. I wear my glasses using it anyway so the PSVR lenses are never too bad.

I bought  Trackmania from Sainsburys and have to admit the VR side is superb. I am getting a lot of VR drift in the game though which I dont seem to be tetting in any other VR games.

I'm getting loads of VR drift too, even after starting my ps4 from totally off.

It never happened on the demo, or for any other game as bad.

Don't know why.

AreaX + ps4 pro are a marriage made in heaven it's almost as crisp as the normal levels of Rez. Although apparently they are even crisper now, I just haven't tried them yet.

PlayroomVR is another title that gets the crisp treatment, easily up there with the Vive now, which considering you can get a ps4 pro, a PSVR and moves for about the same price as the Vive (without a PC) is very impressive.

Just played Area X for the first time - with a beaming smile on my face. wow. Worth the price of admission.

Plus had some really close matches of Eagle Flight tonight, Feels good nodding to your fellow eagle team mate after a match. :) Be great if there were some more modes.

In Eagle Flight you can free look by holding X. If you start a gentle ascend and then switch to free look mode and look down you get funny feelings in the tummy.

You don't unlock that immediately though.

for me it's the best use of movement in VR so far. The sense of flight is genuinely thrilling and the ease and speed in how you can change direction is superb. Turning by tilting your head works extremely well, and everything feels incredibly effortless. I've experienced no sickness whatsoever, even though you can move along at a cracking pace, although this is most likely down to it have the most restrictive field of view on a VR game so far. It never really feels obtrusive however, leaving you free to explore Paris to your heart's content.

the map itself is filled with a large number of challenges ranging from fending off rival vultures to catching fish of racing through rings. It works really well, while the numerous collectibles actually work, because it's a genuine delight to fly around the city. The difficulty is already ramping up, suggesting replay value is definitely there and the presentation is faultless.

highly recommended. It's not as impressive as Robinson but it's a far better game.

Thanks Strider, getting bought once I finish Bound. Should get me through to Last Guardian.

Oh man, just imagine a simple VR version of TLG, where you just chill in a Ueda castle and use the moves to ruffle the feathers of a life-size Trico. Wub.

Do you guys disconnect your psvr when not in use? People are saying they are concerned the ports will wear out swapping for hdr is this the same situation that might occur if I keep disconnecting my psvr headset?

best thing is to get an hdmi switch just to be safe

I can't recommend one because although the PS4 is hdmi 1.4, hdr *should* require 2.0, so it's a fucking minefield.
