Does the regular Trackmania demo now contain a VR demo?

Yeah but when you download it and select it it'll say you have to wait....thats because it's downloading a package in the background of about 4 gigs.

I never felt such a seismic shift in my stomach than playing that. It was like the earth and gravity itself disappeared.

@Poet My wife and I have really enjoyed it. Its a bit like Populous and Black & White. Great interface of looking at two or more things and tethering them for an action. The only downside is there are no mid level saves and some of them can easily take an hour to do.

Yep, Tethered is a good buy for the dosh. I'm up to world 6 and have been really enjoying it so far.

Thanks - that'll get downloaded in short order, along with the Trackmania demo.

Just tried Trackmania and I found it fine. I was expecting to be spewing through my nostrils but nary a hiccup.

Maybe on a full course it will be worse but the track in your video literally ends when you get to the bottom of that dip.

I do however, have an serious problem with my headset fogging up. I'm having to pause every few seconds to wipe the condensation off the lens'. I read someone on here saying keep the headset on your head first for a bit to warm it up but anyone else have any other suggestions for combating it?

Oh yeah, there's some serious stomach churning moments on loads of the courses. Happens more when it switches to first person. To be honest though, the more my head is spinning and stomach lurching the more I'm enjoying it.

Visually it's great too.

When's that Distance game out? I want that Distance game even more now.

It's basic physics. Cold glass in the vicinity of warmth will generate condensation.  The glass needs time to warm up. so yes, keep the headset on, and wipe regularly, the misting will stop as the temperature of the glass reaches a sort of equilibrium with your head.

I've started warming my glasses and the headset in front of a blow heater before going in.

Yeah, 40 separate VR courses that have been added to the full game. They are of the shorter variety and there's no multiple lap ones, presumably to limit the vom factor.

Trackmania is essential for anyone who likes arcade racers and a bit of a challenge. A brilliant game. This extra VR experience is just a nice bonus.

I've been playing it lately.  I love the environment, and it's a brilliant tech demo, but there's not really any game there, is there?  You just kind of run to the end of the level.

Or am I missing something?

You could say the same of Journey. This is a lot like that game. It's lovely and awesome and touching and great. And VR makes it very absorbing. Get it.
