low 70s metacritic for Robinson The Journey.

Apparnelty it's the best looking VR game, it's actually quite a meaty experience with 4-6 hours but quite a challenge to motion sickness sufferers.

I still don't know my limits yet, I've never gotten sick, I stop when I feel strange and I really do find my tolerance level getting higher as time goes on so I'm going to take this one slow and steady.

On another note Bound got it's ps pro patch today. They also adjusted some camera control options so I'll give that a go later today.

I forgot to cancel my preorder for Eagle Flight. Disaster!

Or not because I'm enjoying it. It does that usual PSVR thing of making you forgive any of its shortcomings by giving you a bird's-eye view of a Paris populated by nothing but wildlife.

I'm not even sure if there are any shortcomings anyway. I like the graphical style (true story) and after an hour or so I stopped noticing the field of view when turning. Speaking of which, if there is one complaint it's that it's going to do my neck in!

The campaign is more substantial than I was lead to believe and the time trial nature of the tasks and online leaderboards could give it a surprising amount of longevity too.

Against all odds, CEX can wait.

From my experience of supersampling on a Rift, this example is greatly exaggerated.

Unless the PS4 Pro magically replaces the screen inside the headset with a higher-resolution one.

Definitely. Bound is great. I played through it last Sunday and enjoyed it a lot.

I've been playing it lately.  I love the environment, and it's a brilliant tech demo, but there's not really any game there, is there?  You just kind of run to the end of the level.

Or am I missing something?

Have any of you bothered with Tethered? Still waiting on Move controllers so Until Dawn is just sitting there, and Batman I've played through once without them and don't want to play it again until I have them. I only have Rez and all the demos on top of those two games.

Thumper and Eagle Flight are almost certainly getting bought as well but Tethered looks like it could be something I get into for a while.

No, it's pretty much being soaked in the atmosphere and trying to make sense of the visual cues to paste together a story. I compared it to the likes of Journey earlier.

I can't believe nobody had given Driveclub VR a go on the pro yet - surely that's going to look a bit better....

I think it was said that the patch won't be available until launch day, which itself might tell you all you need to know. That and the departing developer already saying on here that they didn't get to take full advantage of the Pro's power.

But I hope we're all pleasantly surprised because it's the one PSVR title that genuinely needs an upgrade and could have its fortunes changed.
