Yep, I really don't know why there isn't an option to turn off the restricted view for Eagle Flight, even if there was a warning issued when turning that option off. We just need as many options as possible as it's clear to me now that different people suffer in different ways. For instance I find 'comfort' turning in games (Obduction on the Rift being the latest example) tends to make me a little sick, whereas regular rotation by rotating in real life is fine. So for me, comfort is anything but...just give me options.

Check out Charlie Brookers twitter timeline. He's been given a PSVR. To say he's blown away is a bit of an understatement. I'm on mobile so it's a bit of a faff to post it.

From a Neogaf post about Rez on the Pro

Similarly, those of you who have PS VR hooked up to your PS4 Pro might notice Area X looking a little different than you’re used to—that’s because the image being passed along to each of your eyes is being rendered at a higher resolution (1920 x 1080, instead of 1440 x 810 on a standard PS4), before being passed to the PS VR headset. Even though the final resolution it’s displayed at on the headset in the same either way, the extra rendering from the PS4 Pro makes a difference: each particle looks a little more clear, a little more solid, adding up to objects and enemies that look more distinct and “real,” whether close-up or at a distance.

Just picked up Eagle Flight for a reasonable €30. Sigh.

Could we get some impressions up in here? I love the idea of Pilotwings in VR but the only serious bout of motion sickness I've ever had was from playing a wingsuit game on the Vive which looks alarmingly similar to Eagle Flight.

Yep, give me an hour or two... I'm not really motion sickness prone though, so I'm not sure if my impressions will help in that regard.

Well, I'm not that impressed by Eagle Flight. It looks and feels a bit like an early Wii game but in VR instead of using waggle sticks. The letterbox limited field of view is quite annoying too. It may help combatting motion sickness, but I'd rather have an option to switch pussy mode off (it isn't in the patch) and give me a full view. The challenges are fun enough and the controls work, but this will be 5 quid bargain bin fodder before the new year.

And here I was about to say that I was enjoying it more than I expected :D

It's a very simple premise but the exploration is great fun (I've found 2 secret caves so far) and I had a couple of great dog fighting matches with some randoms. The mandatory comfort setting is bloody stupid though.

Would appear not. In the screen where you calibrate whether you're sitting/standing, it shows you the Move controllers in the game, I was able to flip them in the air and catch them and they tracked pretty much 1:1. Nice.

Actually made me think that the Moves could be a pretty capable compromise after all.
