So what's the experience with fatigue? I only had the headset on for about 10 minutes and I found it pretty comfortable, without any nausea or strained eyesight or anything like that. But what is it like when you take it off after playing an hour+ of Rez Infinite for example?

I can play for 2 or 3 hours no problem. I play everything standing as well.

As for recommendations, no one has mentioned DriveClub VR (it's incredibly fuzzy but it plays really well) and RIGS is like Speedball in mechs.

It varies from person to person. I've played 3 hour sessions without issue, but others struggle with less; the choice of games will also likely effect that (I imagine spending hours in front of Rez is less tiring than hours of Driveclub, for example).

I thought the demo of Driveclub was really disappointing. It looked terrible and it didn't feel immersive. Seems like a bad idea to aim for photorealism on PSVR (DC doesn't even come close) wouldn't it be better to have simple, flat-shaded polys + a great driving model?

I don't find it tiring but having it on with headphones for an hour or so gets a bit annoying for a while.

Is Tethered out this week? Looked good from a preview I saw - like a VR Populous.

Yes, apparently along with three other releases: Windlands, Weeping Doll and Carnival Games VR.

Weeping Doll synopsis: A story-driven horror adventure where dolls can come alive, animated by the angry thoughts that arise whenever their children feel wronged. You’ll navigate tough puzzles in eerie environments to solve the mystery of an abused girl’s doll that takes revenge on her parents — and things only get scarier from there!

It's completely indefensible that move controllers are out of stock . Like Sony didn't have enough time to make them?

sales on the VR headset sound like they're strong with 50k sales in Japan within 3 days. I wonder what the first wave shipment to the uk was? 60-70k?

Played three hours of DriveClub last night with no ill effects. It's great and very immersive where else can I sit in a Lamborghini, Ferrari etc etc and gawp at the controls. The fuzziness fades and the racing is fantastic still.

It's a great game, but suffers from being a title converted to VR rather than one built from the ground up.

My PSVR box is positioned to the left of my TV and I find the PSVR cable annoying the way it hangs down the right hand side of my neck and across my body after a bit.

Well I bit the bullet and paid for brand new ones from Amazon just before the launch of the PSVR....but I hope the short supply isn't because they plan to launch redesigned "pro" versions after the Pro has launched. Especially if they were to add a dpad or similar to them.

Fuzzy as hell, but the sense of driving and scale is phenomenal. The demo doesn't do it justice.
