Last night when I went to bed I lay there with my eyes closed and saw some pretty fireworks in a night sky . It felt as real as VR does and made me freak out slightly ,it was almost like being in a middle reality.

wierd!

I had weird screen effect going on last night in bed as well. Felt as though I could still see the PSVR screen lying in bed with my eye's closed. Probably down to excessive VR use, since Thursday.

I had the same on Saturday night. It was as though my eyes couldn't get enough of Rez and wanted to design more of it for me. Area X? I've seen Area Y!

Same! I'm taking the advice of taking a break this week and then going back to it on the weekend. Im going with the view that it's my brain trying to figure out this new reality and it doesn't quite know the difference yet, and so will take a while for it to learn!

Has anyone actually found a store stocking Move controllers? Despite a couple of them saying they have them I can't find them anywhere. After convincing myself I was never going to buy the overpriced wavy sticks I'm now gagging to play Batman and Dawn as nature intended.

They're out of stock everywhere at the moment. Game and John Lewis briefly had some yesterday according to http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/checker-playstation-move-controller?ref=20&kwa=playstation move

The individual PS3 ones are going for £35 or more at CEX and on eBay.

2016 is the year of Move.

Not sure if anyone has visited the US Store after launch day but there is a few new games on it.

Made for VR

Ace Banana

The Brookhaven Experiment

VR Mode included

Collateral Damage

VEV: Viva Ex Vivo™‎ VR Edition

The Brookhaven Experiment appears to be quite good going by its Steam page. One for the move controllers though it seems.

First thing I'm doing when I get home is playing PSVR.

Played it for about 10 hrs so far (mainly yesterday) and have had no real side effects yet.

Mainly playing Thumper and Tumble VR as I feel these are both great games (Tumble VR is only £6.99 on CDkeys).

Might buy Here They Lie or  Rush of Blood but cant dec

I think you just have to 'Move' on as they seem to be out of stock at most places. I suppose its a phase that Sony will 'Move' past and stock should come through soon.

Or you could get them in the US, if you 'Moved' there?

Sorry...

I've just had to arrange an evening with VR for work colleagues. Not one of them has ever expressed any interest in gaming at all, and it's only through my excitement at getting it last week that they were even aware of it. But after coming back in after a week off, loads have people have been round to my desk asking me about it.

It will be interesting to see a non gamers take on it. Will it blow their minds? Or will they be unimpressed as they will not have seen the years of progression to get to this point.

:) Bah Humbug...how annoying. One of the games I really want to play is Until Dawn. Won't touch that until I can get Move. Bugger. Thought I'd cracked it by finding the headset ffs. Move along now, nothing to see here. Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhh

If anyone goes down that lift into the batcave and isn't blown away in progression from the SNES era or whatever I will frankly be amazed.

Get the kleenex in

I've not played much so far but this really is amazing and far better and more immersive than I expected.  Rez in VR is brilliant.  Took a while to get used to the fact that I'm not playing with a fixed view and can look anywhere - looking down in particular and seeing (and shooting) ships passing underneath was great.

then there are little touches like playing a bit on the playroom VR, looking round the room and being slightly unnerved to see that there had been all these little robots sitting behind me looking at me!  Guess I might be in for a shock when I get round to playing Until Dawn!

but then I had a spin on Driveclub and after the initial wow of being able to look anywhere I started to feel decidedly queezy after the first race so decided to call it a night.  I may have to build up to playing this more.

Have you got a Smyths nearby? The MK branch had a bunch of headsets and move controllers on launch day when everywhere else local had sold out.

Unfortunately not. Has anyone got any experience of Move controllers from CEX. It's £70 for 2 which is about on par with new ones. Just wondered if there were likely to be issues with batteries etc, if not I may just go ahead and order with them or off ebay.

Me too. My fucking finger slipped after adding to cart and typing card details and address in!!

Well, now that I 'accidentally' have one coming, I'm assuming I can download all the demos etc ahead of time?

Just head over to the VR section and download the VR demo and the Playroom VR, and search for allumette which is free.

Found myself accidentally getting one earlier too. Picking it up at Currys tomorrow.

Just found my old Moves in the garage in my redundant peripherals box underneath some bongos and a turntable. Any games use the navigation controller by the way?

Rez, Thumper, Batman and Tumble (fucking loved that first time round) are the games I think I'll go for initially. Not sure I can afford anything more after the expense of the headset and camera.

I got mine from there. Both are fine. Been on them loads all weekend and still two out of three bars. Probably pot luck though.

Also I paid £30 for two! I wouldn't pay that much for second hand ones. Wait it out.

Brilliant! I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Coming from the Rift I have just been so impressed by the PSVR. Both are fantastic bits of kit but Sony have nailed the most important factor - user experience. The comfort, the styling, the move controllers all get one up on the Rift but the wealth of great experiences right out of the box (thanks to the demos) is the killer app. As someone said earlier, the attach rate to this thing must be phenomenal. As long as the hardware sales reach significant numbers then devs will have to sit up and take notice.

I don't think I've ever bought a console/accessory where people other than myself have been so eager to try it out and heap praise on it.

For a purchase that I had legitimate concerns about being too antisocial as a viable pass time it's been a surprisingly inclusive experience.
