I am having issues with job simulator , when it comes on it's like I am sitting on the floor and can't reach the jobs or lever.

i am standing up.

at the beginning of the game there's a calibration thing, seems fine?

I'm happy letting my son have brief 10 min goes (6 and a half), he shows no signs of any discomfort in terms of sickness. It won't be a nightly thing either for him, prob just weekends or something.

batman is dripping in atmosphere, the moves work brilliantly. It's more puzzley than I thought it would be which slows things down a bit which I wasn't so keen on. Prob me being thick.

You didn't hold your arms apart during calibration. That's how the game judges your height

Thumper is the only game I've bought that I think I'll be playing in more than a couple of weeks.

They've all been great but are all 'just' great experiences but Thumper is gonna keep me coming back for ages.

Massively recommended.

The demo of Eve seems great but only bloody lasts five seconds.

All the impressions are great but this is what I've held back from pushing buy on my frequently loaded shopto basket; it seems a very quick burn on actual gametime, like a thrill ride at a theme park with a £400 entry fee.

Yeah its more of an interactive story, I'd say the Telltale games are it's nearest comparison.

In terms of actually placing you in a scene though I really don't think it can be beat. The character models are insane!

I must have spent about half an hour just gawping at the nightwing fight reenactment.. analysing it almost frame by frame

Similar experience with my missus's two nephews yesterday who came around to visit (12 and 14). I showed them the Shark Attack thing, a couple of Luge races each and then one of them had a go on the Kitchen demo. I got barely any reaction at all, just "Yeah it was alright."

Don't know what's made them such jaded little fuckers. Perhaps when the first console you remember is the PS3 it takes more to impress you?

At Uncle's house "Yeah it was alright"

At school Monday "Yeah it was amazing! There was a shark and I thought it was going to EAT me!"

I dunno I'd say it's £400 to get in and the rides are about £15 each but they're the most fun rides you can get and you can stay forever.

I think Driveclub is the main one for me at the moment, that I can see myself playing over and over. I've not experimented with many of the score attack modes in a couple of the games yet, so am hoping they'll keep me interested for a while. Then there's Rigs and Battlezone, which I've only played the demos of, that I can see myself playing for quite a while.

just found out I'll get 20% discount next week so I'm going to order a Pro in anticipation it'll improve the VR experience.

A couple of games have already detailed they will enhance things like Thumper for example.

I expect the VR games to take advantage of the hardware on mass, if they secretly haven't already...

Rez and Thumper and even Driveclub have proven to me there is scope for games as we already know them. And they can be fantastic.

But it is Batman and the Heist that indicate to me what I want from VR. I've met people in games. I've looked into peoples eyes and they are really, really there, like no NPC has ever been. There is such a massive scope for that.

I want to be around these virtual characters rather than shoot them.

Telltale* and the guys who made The Room games of iOS, need to jump ship to VR. It's built for that kind of story, experience and puzzley gameplay.

I would buy everything they put out.

*well, if they team up with someone who can actually code and program an engine.

Scavengers Odyssey - avoid! First thing to make me queasy, and not just because of the missing apostrophe.

Felt the hot flush and acid stomach come on out of nowhere after about 10 mins of running, jumping and twisting. Stopped immediately. All fine within 30 mins. I was pushing it deliberately, and now I know my level - certainly not immune, then!

Oh yeah I forgot about Driveclub! Keep meaning to get back to it but setting up the wheel is such a pain for me. Need to get a Playseat.

That game did nothing for me. However I'm still feeling queasy over an hour after trying The Assembly in full dual stick mode (It's fine for me with stepped turning)

I do feel like I'm feeling a little rough now after trying to be pretty restrained over the past 3 days. Definitely groggy and feeling like I'd hurl if I went back on.

Like the mature adult I am, rather than stop I was wondering if anyone had already tried taking a travel sickness tablet or even those acupuncture wristbands that do apparently work?

Okay getting annoyed at how long it takes to load the demo menu and it does it every time you finish a demo, no option to have another go; nope you're booted out and have to wait AGES for it all the load again, those damn spinning dots
Tried Here They Lie and nope that's not for me, I don't have the right mental state for that kind of horror, too oppressive and stress inducing. I'm calling it quits for VR tonight, I've not had any VR induced sickness or wooziness yet but last night I was playing pretty late and I swear when I went to bed and turned the lights off it felt as though I had the headset on, every time I closed my eyes I felt as though I was in VR and I didn't know if I was stood or laying down; at one point I thought I could hear clicking like the tightening gear!! Not a nice experience at all

Oh man. Here They Lie is doing baby oppressive at the start. It really kicks in once you get to the animal head area.

After my brush with feeling sick with the Assembly earlier I don't think I'll be doing any more tonight either.
