So is anyone MORE interest in getting a pro for the POSSIBLE visual improvements in VR?

if the improvements are widespread ,as in almost every game having much better image quality then for me it's a no brainier.

then next year the 4K headset :P

lol mate. If we get 4k headsets you're gonna need more than a PS4Pro.   You'd need more than the best PC graphics cards available right now.

Until someone nails 100% eye tracking for the majoirty of the population (and as such, enables foveated rendering), it's going to be a long wait..

Yep, completely. They haven't detailed exactly what improvements it could make though right? I'm assuming it'd be on a per game basis, so whether the Dev wanted to take advantage.

I'd only be getting it for VR, only got a 1080p TV.

Will change Driveclub's settings to motion control and see how I get on, but it seemed to have real tracking issues. Everything else has been fine but I couldn't even get the menu to realign properly and I felt way too low down in the BAC Mono.

I found that too, but you can press up and down on the d-pad to raise or lower yourself.

Just set up my £29.99 T150 and the racing mount - then Driveclub - Holy shit! I'm telling you - I was there! Unbelievable! If the Pro really does do supersampling or some other witchcraft to improve the perceived resolution somehow, I'd be a very happy camper.

Right, now to try Battlezone :)

It's new clubs in Driveclub VR isn't it?

The first race I had didn't seem to track properly, I couldn't look around at all but the second go I could fine. Weird.

It's good, you soon ignore the lower res graphics as you're to busy looking at the road. Good stuff.

Yep. I setup a RLLMUK one before realising Joe had already setup one called "Rllmuk Real" so that's the one to join.

Now I know I can stomach it, I'll be setting up a VR Timetrial event over the weekend.

I was expecting full on nausea with Scavenger's Odyssey, instead I got Space bugs, Asteroids and derelict spaceships to explore, and you know what not a hint of any trouble with it. I was very impressed actually.

So was I, but as said this was the only VR game that actually got me queasy. In fact, a night and a morning later I still feel a tiny bit light-headed when I think back of this...

I'm a bit annoyed it doesn't carry over any progress from the regular Driveclub. Despite the great experience in VR, it's a bit off-putting to have to unlock everything all over again.

Have you sent a join request as well? Shall we do some multiplayer now? :)

Damn all this positivity even Mr Biffo seems to be convinced it's a good thing http://www.digitiser2000.com/main-page/review-playstation-vr  I could still get one delivered for Monday...should I? Damn my indecisiveness

If you can afford it , And you won't miss £350, then you should buy it . It's as simple as that really, because it is utterly fantastic , and like nothing else you will have experienced .

Things is pre-release the concern was over content light games . But it turns out when you are in VR there is no such thing . Even watching things like allumette which has no direct interaction whatsoever is a total joy .

Its so weird how subjective motion sickness is.

Actually, it's not. Compare it to people getting sick when riding in a car, traveling by boat of by aircraft. It's very subjective whether you get sick or not.

What triggers the sickness for who and with which kind of VR simulation, is something I'd like to see a lot more research of. How about it, @Cyhwuhx? ;)

Apologies to Joe who sent me a request earlier. Didn't notice it until I was just switching off. I kept hearing notification noises while playing, and it hadn't occurred to me that notifications don't pop up while you are wearing the headset!

Tried London Heist for the first time and while in the pub kept leaning forward and trying to rest my elbows on the table. It is weird how each game seems to act differently though. In London Heist the image seems to move ever so slightly once in a while. But with the shark thing(I've forgotten what it's called) the image is rock steady.

Just can't seem to get the main dash image to ever stay in one place at all though, it seems the flakiest of the lot.

I'm around for a bit now, if anyone wants to do some DC multiplayer.

Tag me in when you do please :D

It's one of my maybe games that I'm looking to get this evening.

@Luseth

Just finished a sesh on it. Loved it!

Yeah, the low res jars at first but you soon get immersed and it's not a huge problemo.

The controls were a bit different to what I deem as flight controls. I want to swap sticks around but I still managed fine and was swooping, dodging and navigating around obstacles with great ease and accuracy to my utter delight.

No motion sickness at all, if I'm not getting it spinning upside down in a flight game, I can't see it effecting me anywhere else, all good.

It's fantastic piloting whilst looking elsewhere, tracking enemies, etc. Absolutely awesome!!

Not sure how far I've progressed but have done all the few Recall missions. Not much else. There's some scouting stuff to do and also a survival mode.

Customizing your ship requires multiplayer participation which I'm yet to venture on, will have a go some time.

Overall I'm pleased, a tad worried I've nearly seen all the single player stuff.....but I may find the multiplayer addictive, that'll obviously make the price more apt.

Defo recommend buying the physical disc over digital (think I paid £42 from Shopto), then if it does wear thin you can sell/trade in.

The weirder thing is that you adapt to it, become used to it over time, and games that once made you feel nauseous are just fine.

Think I saw you answer this on Twitter so I'm expecting to hear there is no Pro visual upgrade, but am I right in thinking you guys haven't been asked to do any work for DC VR for the PSPro dude?

Either way, DC VR is one of the best gaming experiences of my entire life man, so thank you, and thank the team, it's just insane that I can play this in my House.

I tried the EVE demo and liked it, but not sure i'd drop 50 on it, so bought EVE Gunjack which looks similar and it's a 6.99 download.

I quite enjoyed playing a bit of Gunjack last night. It`s a very basic game but fun.
