Do they just randomly remove movies off this with no warning? I was halfway through the conjuring, but now it seems I can only rent or buy it.

Yes. They used to have a "last chance" section for stuff that was going to be removed soon (dating back to when it used to be the Lovefilm app), but that's gone.

Also, in the past I've received emails from them saying that certain series in my watchlist will soon be removed - but only for programmes I hadn't even started watching yet, never for anything I was halfway through.

Most recently happened when I was three episodes into Agent Carter season 2.

Sorry to jump in on your question @Chadruharazzeb but just wanted to post this list of films which people may not know are up on Prime (read notes for links) which my mate Dave made.

It’s a good list but some movies have already been removed (mad max and rats from what I’ve found).  I really like Prime but it doesn’t do a great job of tellimg

you what’s going; I’m annoyed I didn’t buy The Hidden when it was on there.  Just been removed and I had no clue that was on the cards.

Anyone find audio constantly drops out of synch when paused? This is on Xbox but think it happens on PS4 too

It happens to me sometimes on my Firestick. I usually have to rewind a few seconds, hit play, and then it fixes it.

So, it seems that someone has taken the trouble to convert all of Baywatch to High Definition and Amazon has put it all on Prime.

Usually I'm happy to see old TV shows brought into the HD era but I'm not sure Baywatch would have been near the top of my list.

Anyway, if anyone doesn't know how to access internet porngraphy, Amazon has Baywatch up now...

I find myself using this more and more, they seem to be getting a library that differentiates itself from Netflix.

The interface on my aged TV is an absolute disgrace though. Hopefully it isn't as bad on consoles and newer TVs.

Yeah, I've been impressed with some of the TV archive series they are getting the rights to. Netflix seems to be going full on original with most of its content which is fine but Amazon seem to be scooping up classic TV series which is itself not an unattractive proposition, particularly when the video service is supported by other Amazon related benefits.

I never got the love for Baywatch when it was originally aired. Just pure utter dross.

I remember liking it as a kid but that isn't much of an endorsement. If I have a spare 40 minutes and can brave an episode I'll report back at what it is like watching as an adult in 2019....

Even the best 90s TV has generally dated somewhat. I can't imagine why anyone would ever watch Baywatch now.

And yeah, they have a lot of archival stuff that used to be on Netflix but has been dropped over the years.

I have discovered that Amazon have SO much 90s TV on Prime at the moment. None of it could ever be described as "the best" but stuff like Ghost Stories and Highlander: The Raven which were buried away on ITV and Channel 5 in the late 90s/early 2000s all seem to be popping up of late perhaps because the rights are completely worthless in this day and age.

Yep. Currently a shit-show on Xbox, PS4 and Apple TV. Doesn't happen on my old Sony blu-ray player, but that's running a 2012/13 version of the Prime video app.

Watching The Man in the High Castle last night I tried all 4 because it was so obvious. No issues with Netflix so presumably an Amazon thing. I was already annoyed because I can't get PCM surround from Prime Video watching TMITHC on the Apple TV (defaults to DD2.0) which is presumably some incompetence by Amazon or nonsense between them and Apple.

Am I missing something, or via the Fire TV stick is there no obvious way to continue watching stuff? Netflix has the rather handy continue watching section, but I can't see anything even remotely similar for Amazon stuff.
