It's a bit Day Z, a bit L4D. You play with up to 64 other players in a fallout style post apocalyptic world. You lose your stuff you have on your when you die, but there's a stash in the safe zones. If you can actually get there without either being killed by monsters in the dark, backstabbed by a lone player, or toyed with and slain by a murderous player cult.

It's the creepiest and scariest game I've played in years. I will sit behind a box in an empty warehouse all night to avoid death and jump at the slightest noise. It's brilliant!

Is anyone else playing, as I'm soloing just now, and it's really designed to be a group experience.

I might be wrong but isn't this made by the scummy wankers who brought us warz?

I was under the impression that this was just that game in another skin. Is there much pay to win involved?

Don't think there's anything in that, the link does seem to have come about because the trademarks are registered in the same name. But it's the name of the lawyer, who also represents other developers. They are both registered in Delaware but then so are many companies for tax reasons.

Took a total flyer on this on the last day of the Steam sale and I'm really glad I did. I love these online survival games - I just find them totally fascinating, and this seems really well put together. Great atmosphere, and nice community too, bar a few bandits, but there's a lot more teamwork in this than I ever found in Day Z so far.

An hour long dive into madness and hell...I really like this game. Take a look at the video to get an idea of how the game plays now with its most recent updates. First video is a narrated experience and the second shows off a more advance leveled character with no narration. Luckily for me I've not encountered too many human killers and found solace roaming the lands in a solo manner.

I reinstalled it a few weeks back and played for a few hours, managed to level up a bit, get some weapons, and actually kill some enemies. I like it, but can see it really needs a group to unlock it's full potential.
