Just started watching this on recommendation from Gerry Helmet, not a huge fan of the art style and I didn't particularly like the first episode but I thought the second was hilarious. I'll punish both seasons this week.

they script it as an idea in a setting, but they improv a lot of the dialogue. they just script "restaurant of tiny food - talk about it", that sort of thing. thats what the 1st interdimensional cable episode was based around, giving the actors a concept and letting them improvise. theyre always playing with ideas so when it comes to the script they already know the ones they want to do. they talk about it on a video podcast thing on youtube.

What an amazing finale. I love the way this show can make me belly laugh all the way through and still have me come away feeling completely and utterly morose and filled with despair at the end.

i dont get that last episode at all, my pal raved about it..gota watch it..and...meh. so i get the story but i was waiting for some extra signficance or lore. nope. just they do some stuff and thats how it ends.

Good episode, great ending, was nice to see some extra significance and lore put in there as well. This season seems to have gone by really quickly.

Harmontown has riffs that are similar most weeks as well, you definitely get a feel for his approach from listening to it.

First season debuted in December 2013, followed by season 2 in July 2015. Even Mr Poopybutthole said it would be a year and a half, and he's got the inside track on things.
