Are Netflix losing this in the UK? Watched some season 3 yesterday and it says it's only available till October 7th.

I don't know what's going on with this on Netflix. Seasons have been up and down at various points over the last month or so and now it's saying it's available until 21 November.

Channel 4 have picked this up now. They're starting with season 4 on C4 next month, with the first 3 season on E4. They're also putting loads of other Adult Swim stuff on All4 and putting an Adult Swim block on E4.

They have the exclusive broadcast rights for season 4 when it is shown. First 3 seasons will be on E4 from February.

I haven't watched this in a few months, I think I have 6 episodes left. I just can't stand the voice actor, especially Morty is slowly grinding down my nerves. I have to be in a very specific mood to be able to watch it.

Ha, just picked up s3 and watched the Pickle Rick episode.

 

I can see why that became A Thing. The bits in the counsellor's office totally make it - the bits with Rick are batshit, but it's the whole package that makes it so good.

 

Good to see more Adult Swim stuff is coming to C4, too - it always tried to champion good animation. I just wish one of the terrestrial channels would pick up Gumball or Bob's Burgers.

Sadly I think that the crazy heroics of Pickle Rick smashing up rats etc. is the reason that's become popular, not the bit at the end of the episode that points out that, actually, these are the actions of an emotionally dysfunctional person wilfully destroying himself to avoid facing difficult truths about himself and the world around him.

 

Mind you, if any show can have its cake and eat it, it's this one.

Yeah, E4's Friday night repeats are currently up to episode 9 of seasons 1 and 2, so I had assumed that once those are finished in a couple of weeks they'd go straight into season 4. But  instead it'll be on Channel 4 in January.

Fairly ‘standard’ episode without getting into any ongoing plot/arc. Seemed to take some swipes at the more toxic elements of their fan base too
