Iit was more than that. The total of a single cache of them was around 34 million, they gave 250 million worth.

Arrange to meet a forumite who doesn't mind getting loads of cash and gift it over to them? Problem solved.

anyone had trouble updating to 3.5 ? my ps5 version seems resolutely stuck on 3.05 . i’ve tried deleting and redownloading it , but nothing!  boo!!

edit - or is 3.5 actually 3.051.000 as it shows on the information bit ? i’m so confused 😂

I realise that the matter has been resolved re: lots of money but, sheesh, does nobody have any willpower these days? Just because it was there didn't mean you had to spend it, and the fact the alternative action would've been to delete the game and move seems a bit dramatic. It would be easy to mentally deduct 250m from whatever value you had to keep track of the 'true' amount if it was such a burden.

Never leave the ship without some thruster fuel left in it.

I needed some uranium for fuel but didn't have any. Went looking for some. 45 minute walk towards a trading out post, which I thought was an ingame timer rather than real time, but I was wrong!

Uranium? You just need di-hydrogen and a metal plate!

EDIT: That's for launch fuel. For pulse drive fuel I use tritium, which is the common element you get from blasting asteroids around any planet.

I know this doesn't help but the sooner you can spend nanites on the S class launch thruster upgrade the better. It'll be the dude on one side of the space station selling ship upgrades.

The S class upgrade means your launch thrusters slowly recharge when not in use. Total game changer.

By pure chance, the ship I bought already had one. 500k with trade in for a green colonial Viper Mk II look-a-like. Lovely!

I was about to post the same thing. This is always one of the first things I get for a ship now.

When I find new crashed spaceships I take it if it's a higher grade I should be claiming it and fixing it to then use? I found a totalled A rank ship which I replaced my starter ship with but it's trashed.

It's up to you. If you don't like the way it looks, or if it has less slots it might still be worth more to you as scrap or as a trade for something slicker. You only need to fix the launch thrusters and pulse drive to get it mobile, which is a lot less hassle than fixing everything.

On the other hand, if you really like the look of it then I imagine it could be quite fun to treat it as a project. :)

It’s a great update, the visuals have been hugely impressive at times when the algorithm spits out the right combo.

I’ve been all over it past few nights — finished the Atlas business, now to get to the middle and do the rest of the Artemis business. The ultimate podcast game.

Completely addicted to this, again, at the moment.  My son has started playing it as well, and he experienced the gift of 80M units worth of stuff from a random stranger in the anomaly yesterday.  It's fine though.  I'll just keep pootling around in my Austin Metro of starships, while he's off gallivanting in his Ferrari.

As before, and the time before that, too, I'm not able to do more than one or two steps in the primary missions per day, as I just get completely distracted all the time.  This morning before breakfast I spent an hour just walking around a desert planet digging up dinosaur fossils.  So very relaxing.

Hrmph I think I might have hit a bug in the very last stages of the Artemis story. Basically go to a structure and, while the marker is present, the structure isn't 😞

Are you sure it's an exact location and not an approximate one? You might need to track it down with your objective scanner.

I did wonder that, but the scanner says I'm on top of it! Will have to see if there's a way to reset that step -- I think if I travel far out of the galaxy it gives you an option to re-map it?
