When i started the game, I lost my previous path so I had an anomoly    appeared which put me back on my path. I have the best warp drive now so just warp straight to the atlas point every time now.

My problem is that after loading the game, the path (and thus Atlas systems) literally funny appear on the map until I find another anomaly, so I'd have to do all gen in one sitting or hope i frequently encounter anomalies to get me back on track.

I think more people would be complaining about it were it by design, so pretty sure I have an intermittent defect here.

You can definitely do it in one sitting, I did pretty much all of it that way. Just fill up on warp cells and hope from Atlas to Atlas, it's at most one hop inbetween with the second level hyperdrive.

Or you could just not bother.

Yep it disappeared for me when I booted up the game yesterday, got 5 stones yesterday. I have the maxed warp drive so I can jump straight to an atlas station when it appears on the galaxy map.

I expect when I load up the game again I will lose my current atlas path & will have to find an anomaly to get back on the path.

I still love it, it's a bit rough around the edges but I've put in more hours into this game than lots of other £40 purchases.

Each to their own I guess, this game was made for me.

All I really REALLY want for a new feature is a photo mode.

Well, I don't have time, as by the time I find another anomaly, I've eaten into daily dad gaming time. Oh well, sounds like a feature to artificially slow down your progress.

The game isn't exactly big on being realistic. I mean it has floating islands in the sky and ore deposits can be cut in half and magically hover in the air. For a game that uses Havoc phsyics you would expect better.

Oh, it kept track of it fine for me (PC), I did it in a burst to get it out of the way.

Just jump from system to system until an anomaly pops up. If you've got the fuel you can easily do six or seven Atlas stops in an hour.

What materials does the Omega drive need? I don't want to make the same mistake I did with the Theta, where I found last night I needed 1000 each of Gold and Emeril - which I'd merrily been selling all along.

I don't have the blueprint either.

Theta is the best drive that is all you need.

Anyone 100% a planet since latest patch? I've just spent an AGE on this planet and finally found the last animal, only for the bar to be stuck on 93% complete despite having green ticks for all animals?

Have you another animal hidden off the bottom of the list? I've had that a few times.

Are you sure? There's Omega other stuff.

Nope there are only three, Sigma, Tau & Theta.

I do not have Sigma or Tau installed just Theta & I can jump to all the atlas points I have found straight away.

I really want the final Jetpack upgrade, but it requires a material I haven't even come across yet.

Keep checking space stations, you'll find it eventually.  Once you find one which has it in stock, harang the other pilots who come to land, they seem to have similar inventory to the station.

Omegon? You get it from breaking down your old ship when transferring to a crashed new one. Can't remember exactly what you need to break down though...

Omegon was hard to find, I got it from crashed ships or just buy it from vendors. You only need 50.
