I think the terminal that shows you crashed ships is the only re-usable one -- you just answer the same number question every time. You usually find it in a cluster of three buildings: one has a landing pad and a trade terminal, one has a satellite dish and a terminal to look for ruins, and one has a large straight antenna and a terminal to look for crashed ships. That's the re-usable one. May only work on Gek worlds?

I know which terminal you mean.  I've used dozens of them. None of them let me do more than   one puzzle.  You guys have clearly stumbled on a bug.  I want to know how to do it!

You'll quickly get fed up with the bloody shield alarm going off..

You'll need plenty of iron, Herudium, plutonium and zinc to repair all the launch and plasma engines.

Basically keep using the orange beacon things until you get a trasmission tower pop up, it'll be one with a house icon and not an observatory or the one that looks like a screwdriver,

It only work on planets that have a single alien (gek) race on it. Up to 42 slots so far....

All planets have a single race... Each system only has a single race.

Can't be certain whether I've tried on a gek planet! It can't just be that though.

Hello again!

as you saw from my other posts, I've been away as these Mods started to appear for No Mans Sky.

Whats the best ones to apply to this then?

Suprisingly I'm not that sold on the Low Flying Mod, but I absolutely love the look of the Black Space one!

any others I should be applying to this game now please?

Also, a tip for fun. Don't upgrade your ship's phase beam, it becomes a win button and makes ship combat utterly pointless. Instead, upgrade your photon cannons. The combat will still be easy, but at least you have to manoeuvre your ship and give chase a little. :)

Yep I trashed the phase beam, the cannon is more enjoyable.

Been doing a bit of ship to ship combat today. It seems that if pirates specifically arrive to attack you, they'll follow you to the surface. I guess the ones that are attacking other ships don't bother.

I also attacked some more innocent ships, and despite hearing "Sentinel Attack Ships Incoming" for 5 minutes, they never arrived.

Ultimately the combat makes for some good spectacle but it's pretty frustrating with the height and speed restrictions, and it's sadly not very good. The view lurches around all over the place as well. I wonder what it's like with the low flying mod?

I've only just realised you can also "park" your ship next to those little columns that recall your ship when it's lost. A bit like a landing pad, it then doesn't cost you anything on your thrusters to take off. Probably old news to some of you.

Yes, if you can angle the nose of your ship down as you approach (not easy I know), you'll actually see a target reticule appear.

I've had a marvelous session today, the game seems to be handing me out all the top Blueprints. Got all the aeration modules, and Warp Drive Theta. Just need 1000 Emeril and Gold now...

I just love the Atlas stations, seen about 5 now and they are just so sci-fi.

Actually accidentally warped into one earlier, could fly around and clip like crazy, but couldn't land or fly back out so needed a restart.

Then finally found a crashed ship to repair that was 1 slot better than mine. Much better bubble cockpit too. But bugger me it took an age to repair - everything was fucked. Everything. And the planet was Mother Hubbard.

Still loving it. :-)

Yep gold is proving very difficult to find for me, I'm hanging on to every bit I have.

Is Gold useful then? I'm not very far into the game but my third planet has whacking great towers of gold everywhere. It also has a green sky, red seas and yellow land, like some kind of dope smoker's heaven.

Oh yes !! You need it for so many crafting & upgrade blueprints. My game thus far has given me plentiful supply of emeril, aluminium & heridium. Just no gold :(

I seem to stuck in a blackhole. I shot my lasers at it and they seem to have glitched and kept firing. I've been traveling through for about 10 minutes now and it's either crashed or I'm going to end up extremely far from where I started.

Im temped to leave it and see what happens

I've barely seen any aluminium up to now. However, I'm sick of the sight of gold. I'm even walking past it now, because I can't be bothered to mine more of it.

The three races have unique towers, so it could be that just the Gek one is bugged.

So my exteme, barren planet has turned to crap, can't find a single place to flog the grav balls. To cap it off, while traveling high the atmosphere to reach a crash site, it told me the planet name in the center of the screen, so I think I left. That's my extreme Sol counter shagged, right?

I'm sure @Davros sock drawer Is the Charlie Bucket of rllmuk. He's got the special golden ticket version of NMS from the Hello Games Wonky factory. ;)

I started playing again last night and blasted away from planets Sacs. Now looking for a leafy paradise. One crash, on landing which was a first, labeled the bug report 'Shitshow'.
