I'm farming sac venoms. A 37 slotters was just over 18 mil. 43 was something like 36. I plan to stay here a good long while. (37 slots in my exo suit). Selling sac venoms for 27k each. 4 seconds pulse jump from the planet.

I have 19 million now. Time to wait.

Ok think i need to move along from my nice friendly sac venom-less system asap!

I still haven't left my starting planet (other than an accidental launch into space from which I swiftly headed back to the safety of what I know) and am now loitering at a seven pad space port awaiting just the right ship to spend the 1.4million credits I have slowly squired mining Emiril. My only mod is an extra slot on the exosuit so this may not have been the most efficient way to have spent over six hours of play time.

I have no idea why such mundane, repetitive tasks as mining minerals and walking about is proving to be such a time sink.

Even at a million per round trip that sounds horrendously dull.

I died on a planet and I wasn't happy about it - I hadn't died before so was cross with myself.

I reloaded my save and I had just landed at a drop pod but my 'grave' was still there so I interacted with it and it has just doubled everything in my inventory. Everything!

Just spent another thirty minutes loitering at my local space port.

I skip over to every ship that lands in order to take a closer look, kick the skids, ask the captain his price, decide it's not quite the one (I've already seen THE ONE but it got away during the 15 seconds I thought I'd have another quick look at the ship parked next to it), and then slope off back to stand by my ship.

I shall be getting quite the reputation as a timewaster here on Shbyobuh Yiyppi but one day my ship will come in...

Gone from a 20 slot ship to a 30 slot one this evening purely through crashed ships hoping. Fix it up to get it flying and then off to find the next one, etching being one slot better each time. Whilst I've got a fair amount of cash from some cave farming I just cannot bring myself to spend it on ships when I can get them for "free" (time and a few simple resources).

I can't stop playing this.

what an utterly unforgettable experience....

sit it back and let the atmosphere wash over you.....games or ' experiences ' like this really don't come along very often :(

I've lost my bloody ship. It's always been on my radar and I was following another waypoint in the direction of my ship but the markers vanished.

Is there a way to get the marker back? Also can you remove waypoints or set specific ones as primary? My screens a mess of waypoints at the moment.

You can call your ship from little beacon things at Shelters etc.

Really loved the look of this ship...

I've got my eye on a variant of that, just because it looks cool.

Today I went from a red, desolate hellscape to a planet with more species on it than I think I've seen in the entire game up until now.  Flying space fish, things with six legs, loads of mutant dinosaur looking motherfuckers, great place.

Stupid waypoints. Does greyed out mean visited? And not greyed out mean not visited? If so do beacons sometimes highlight (and un-grey) waypoints that you've been to? Because I'm sure I'm going to ones that aren't greyed out and they're bloody places I've been to.

Also been on this planet for about four days now and not found a single one of those bloody places to respawn my poor ship.
