Just packed an untradeable Bremer, not sure I'll use him but still a nice pull. Still looking for the final card for Mane but I've done half of Xabi Alonso using high rated dupes.

I'm now done with my packs. Currently selling my entire bronze rare inventory, made about 200k so far so have around 600k in the bank. Also selling my tradable dupes.

 

I've put together a team of my best new players:

 

 

I also had many, many high level dupes and totw players so I did pretty well. I can now complete the mane SBC with untradables but I will probably use rakitic as I can always buy him in future if needed. I'm in no rush to complete mane so I'll see if I get another untradeable in the month.

 

I've only got the last Alonso SBC to do which is only 87 and should be easily doable within the timeframe.

 

Now to thin about if I want to spend my 600k on anyone immediately.

Made it to 9 wins in WL which is good for me as I rarely play it, but probably pretty meh given my team. De Ligt in red picks and Kimmich and a decent amount of other fodder out of the reward packs.

I made it to 9 wins too which is my normal bracket. Not a bad recovery from 1-5. Completed mane and I like him. Been trying out my new players and some in there that seem good, especially bremer.

Bought TOTY Icon Cole earlier to give him a go, managed to snipe him for 500k and the market bounced so I played a few games with him and then sold him on for 550k. He was ver,y very good, easily the best full back I've used and I'd love to use him as a wing back. Back up to 800k in the bank, wonder who I should try next, tempted by voller.

I got prime Roberto Carlos from the Icon SBC the other night so am set for a LB. How about HM Davies if you can link him? I have packed him untradable but not played with him yet, even with Bellingham I can't get chem without losing it elsewhere.

 

I also packed my first ever Icon from a non-guaranteed pack today. Unfortunately it was mid Jairzinho and I already did his SBC. No choice but to fodder him, sadly.

I'll give Davies a go but I'm a bit concerned by his high/low work rates. I'll try Robertson too. I've got gold alba in there right now and I find him really solid so I might try his upgrade. I am definitely going to try de jong 90 because I love his 87, possibly my top cm I've used.

I'm within sniping distance of toty modric so I think I'm going to try and get the little extra and try and get him before toty goes out of packs and prices rise, as they are doing already. I'm probably about 50k short right now so divisions rewards should push me close enough as well as selling my remaining dupes.

And I got him. Only 20k left in the bank but I'm ok with that.

I made the 7 wins in homegrown for the first time today. I went 7-1 so have 4 wins to give away too. I've not won more than 3 before. Got Haaland, Kroos and a couple of TOTW in the packs too.

How did you find him?  I bought the pink one for weekend league, I sold him Saturday night and played the loan TOTY one instead for the rest of it.  That's how bad he was.

 

Got 12 wins but none were down to him, he was very disappointing for me.

Getting Carlos then Jarzinho is bloody good pack luck I would say.  I haven't done it because my picks will be Nakata, Baresi and Vieri knowing my luck!

TOTY Modric - He's good but not 1.4 mill good so I sold him earlier today. Made about 200k profit and now have 1.8m in the bank. I bought a couple of other CMs to try out including wijnaldum and Pedri. I benched TOTY Modric for 88 Fofana and probably preferred him overall. Modric's long passing was ridiculously good though.

 

EDIT: Might buy 91 Firmino when his price bottoms out tonight!

Monologue continues...

 

Still enjoying it and really enjoying the squad building.

 

I've made D2 in rivals and got 13 wins last weekend. Having top tier players makes so much difference.

 

Selling toty modric and some decent trading left me flush so I've invested in a few upgrades alongside the obvious squad building challenge players. I've kind of forgotten about chemistry with my wingers too. Mane and Bale are so much better than any other wingers I have that I don't care if they are on 0 chem.

 

Bought Jota last night for a little more than the market low but I'm sure he'll get at least a point or 2 boost and will go up in value. Also bought motm casemiro for 75k, which seems absurd value for a 92 card.

There is an SBC (squad building challenge) to complete to get the 86 rated version of Luis Diaz. You need to submit an 83 rated squad for him. Then score a finesse goal with him in five separate Squad Battles (minimum semi-pro difficulty) or Rivals matches to obtain the 88 rated version.

 

If you don't have the cards to submit the 83 rated squad for Diaz look at what objectives you can complete to earn packs. 83 and up rated cards on the transfer market are very expensive currently.

So you have to have Diaz in your squad ? Sorry for been so dense you should see me trying to navigate the menus on this game

@kittygotwet Yes you need his 86 version in your squad and then score finesse (RB/R1 modifier shoot) goals with him in 5 separate matches. Only Squad Battles on semi pro or above difficulty or Rivals matches count.

Sorry in advance for putting this in here but googling is useless.

 

I bought Fifa 23 Ultimate Edition digitally at Christmas for the kids.  I redeemed the key against by account so that the kids could play it on the xbox series x and the potato xbox as their own account.  All good and ended up buying a 2nd standard edition key for my son so he could play on the potato without me having to be signed in.

 

Hes now looking to get into Ultimate team but the 4600 EA points are sitting unused under my name.

 

Can i transfer them to his EA account? (pretty certain that will be a no)

Can i gift him packs from my account?

Last resort, can i transfer him players in some way?

 

Just sit on them and transfer to EA 24  and get him to start a team then.. as its close to end of season?

Any other ideas welcome!

@fattakin No to all of the above. You will get popped for coin transfer if you try and do anything else. 

 

Might be worth asking EA Help but I doubt you'll get anywhere.
