I quite enjoyed using standard silver teams but totally agree that they’ve ruined silver stars.

I just liked playing a few golden goal games, getting a new player, and slowly adapting the team over the season. Now the teams will be pretty much set for the rest of the year. I need 3 more wins for that Ultimate pack and jumbo rare players from silver gauntlet. Only 6 games left though. I only won 1 last night. It’s taken so much effort, but I reckon I’ll fail

I'd recommend you stock up on the 71 to 74 silver upgrades packs if you plan on doing league sbcs.  Because of the rating its often major league players that appear and with a near 1 to 1 conversion ration from bronzes they make league sbcs much more cost effective.

I opened about 60 to 70 packs for fut birthday, got kamada.  He's not awful but no where near the team.  Tbh there has been so much power creep that none of the players other than Ronaldo would really make the team.

Allan looks incredible and this might be the most useable Suarez card ever.

Allan might make the team but I'm not sure he's better than jorginho toty or mid Matthaus that I already have.  Upfront I'm using prime drogba and origi match up.  Suarez might edge them for skill moves but both are 6 foot 2 and over 90 jumping so are an aerial threat.  

 

I'm not saying it's a bad team but you really looked forward to fut birthday each year but there is just so much power creep now that it's not the promo it used to be

He looks stunning. But he has none of the specialities Prime Larsson has. Does that matter? I thought specialities were just based on stat combinations, which Moments Larsson should still have. 
 

I can muster about 500k if I sell Prime Larsson and Future Stars Matheus Cunha, so will need to wait for his price to creep down. Unless I get something of high value in this FUT Birthday madness.

I have to agree, the sbcs other than Mikh are bang average.  Might buy odegard to replace origi so I have more 5 star 5 star players as they're full meta, same as last year.  I'm surprised there haven been more actual icon sbcs now that moments are out   usually they throw some of the less inspiring ones in sbcs from now just to give out some content.

Fuck sake @AlfromSleep that’s incredible! I’ve done pretty much every daily SBC and have had nothing for about a month now. Feeling no drive to play whatsoever so might shake up the team a bit and try to get some of that buzz back into it.

 

Forbidden West and GT7 aren’t helping to be fair, haha. Elden Ring can wait until I have an entirely clear slate with no distraction. I’m really looking forward to it but hope to fuck it doesn’t end up boring me into submission like all the other Soulsborne games eventually did.

I’ve also done all the daily SBC’s and all of the objectives. Haven’t packed anything better than one of those orange MOTM jobbers. We’re talking at least 5 Ultimate packs and 10 jumbo rare gold players, in amongst a load more. I’ve got Kante, Jorginho, De Bruyne and Mbappe on the market to give me funds to mix the team up a bit.

When do the tokens stop being available in SBCs? I have 9 at the moment pretty much all through SBCs apart from maybe one objective and can’t see me grinding out much more. 
 

This is probably make or break for me in terms of sticking with UT. Everything is feeling very stale and has been for a few weeks so unless something special happens with a SBC drop or something equally unlikely in token swap rewards I doubt I will be playing much longer.
